Lets be honest, we'll need 1 or 2 unconventional TDs on Saturday

to have a chance at winning. We aren't going to drive the field on them for TDs multiple times. We also are likely to give up more points than last year based upon our defense being a little worse, and the game being away.

Unconventional TDs are plays like -

fumble or interception return for a TD
Punt Return for a TD
Crazy bounce/fluke long offensive TD (and I don't mean just a regular deep pass)
And since its Bama - long FG attempt return for TD

Our defense will still have to play lights out, likely with the field position and time of possession against them. We're going to give up some points. We need some cheap points of our own to give us a chance.

I don’t think it has to be anything that fluky. I think it comes down to Chark (and others) winning 50-50 balls

I think the only way to win is to get out to an early lead and hold it into the 4th. Make Bama have to pass to beat you.

If we go into the 4th trailing, I don’t see how we can win as they will just simply pound it down our throats.

Bama actually fumbles a lot. However, they rarely lose them.

If it's just a regular game with no turnovers bama wins 31 - 10.

This is the only way I see us winning.

Special teams play needs 7 points (not including FGs).
Defense needs 14 points. (combo of two...pick 6, scoop and score, or turnover within their 5 yard line).
Offense 10 points (TD and FG).

LSU 31
bama 24

Turnovers are key

LSU can't afford to turn it over

Pretty much everyone agrees we're not beating them straight up. It's going to take a pick 6 or housing a fumble for us keep it close or have a chance to pull off the upset.

Greedy Pick 6
Arden Key Strip sack in the redzone

LSU 20
Bama 17

Then I turn off the PlayStation and watch the game.

The only way you see us winning is out D and special teams producing 3 TDs?

What if Aranda has an incredible game plan. Our big wideouts snatch some jump balls and we win 17-13?

I don’t think it’s gonna take 3 scores on D and Special teams for us to win. Maybe if we can stop them at all, but I’m not ready to rule out Aranda containing Hurts and that offense.

lesbian honest, it's going to take more than 1 or 2 unconventional TD's to beat Bama on Saturday.

Forcing Hurts to throw will increase those chances IMO

Alabama is certainly very good and worthy of #1. With that said they aren't the '85 Bears. If we win this won't be the upset of the century nor will we need them to fumble 7 times and LSU have 3 pick 6s.
