Thanks for the compliment. We know the bird exists. Hopefully will get better evidence.
I don't think we should junk up other threads. I respect your opinion that you don't think it exists because of your knowledge of the woods.
I have studied the species since Dr. Lowery at LSU let me hold Ivorybill museum specimens in 1969. I didn't know Ivorybills still existed until I first saw one in 2019.

This statement is kinda all over the place...LSU did not do anything wrong in this situation, the Saints did do something wrong, even if everyone in NFL was doing it. It would be hard to justify any fines/suspensions from the SEC. Its more of an effort to exhibit some control by Sankey, he just picked LSU, coming off the the Jayden ordeal and Kiffin is not very well liked or respected throughout the league. He knew he could the media's support. Very different situations here.

I don't think it's just Sankey trying to assert control. I think this is specifically to harass LSU and Kiffin.

Been there lol... I originally thought the same, the attack felt very personal from Sankey, that if Kiffin was the coach still at Ole Miss, they would be under his crosshair instead of LSU. But with as sloppy as this whole thing has been, it will always be just speculation if it's Kiffin he doesn't like, LSU, or just trying to get control of the conference and Sankey thought this situation would be the easiest to get a mob behind him. In truth, it was working until he wanted to a vote to expel LSU from the conference. All the talking heads in the media, minus Finebaum, jumped to LSU's ship

Good point. Hard to shake the fact that there is selective scrutiny in the SEC.
I wish LSU would put out a statement that said: "We will always comply with the SEC rules. In fact, we disregarded a court order to comply with those rules."
