His loyalty to Jefferson is what led to the downfall of this team. I really believe the reason we continued to run the ball even in the fourth is because Miles was trying to protect Jefferson and to some extent Lee. He didn't want to risk throwing the ball and watching those 2 struggle and tale the blame. I think Miles would rather have that on him than 2 kids. Loyalty isn't a bad thing and it's a great trait, but it can also be a downfall as it was for Jim Haslett and Aaron Brooks. This is all IMO of course.

how bout loyalty to the one who got you there. Tragically the downside of loyalty is the source.

Loyalty, you can say the same thing about Les. Oh well, time to move on and look forward to next seasons team.

les was going down with jefferson no matter what, especially against bama. dude still has visions of the 2008 game floating around in his head.

Loyalty is not a fault, blind stubbornness is a fault, though.

If anything Les might have been a victim of success this year. Its hard to abandon what works. Maybe Bama losing in T-town was the best thing for us since the rematch was inevitable regardless who won Nov5. And with less production versus UGA and still winning due to ST/HB and flat out wearing them down, it was easier than you think to stay with JJ.

CLM will make a self evaluation of the game and be a LOT better next year. I don't think you can be beat next year if you stay hungry.

His biggest fault is that he's a moron.

That's kinda my point. Jefferson was always going to be the qb for this team, but Les had to sit him early. Once he had the chance to take Lee out he was going to Jefferson and never looking back.
