And we lost to bama 21-0, and couldn't beat them in Death valley on a saturday night. And we're going to the peach bowl. Sure, give the guy a blank check. He should give his agent a kiss on the mouth, if he was a girl.
Every single coach in the country has a handful of mistakes. Bama fans were crucifying Saban after their loss this year. You pay a top 5 coach top 5 money. Case closed. It not a blank check. Its market value.

When you're a consistently top 5 coach, this tends to happen. Why aren't you complaining about Kirk Ferentz's contract? That one seems horribly unfair to the coaches who accomplish more than he does

Looking at that data, I can't see a reason that Miles is entitled to a raise. It's been half a decade since we were the best program in our division of the conference.
How anyone who is able to cancel their individual bias can argue against this is beyond me. Saban has nothing to do with my feelings.
