You misread the question I think. And no, it probably won't.

ND v Bama Line

Early projections say Bama gives 9/10. Let's go with 10. Who do you take?

Come again? Miles' win percentage is better than Richt's.
The fact that he didn't say anything is because they were working on a new deal. Thats obvious, no one ever comes out to immediately deny serious offers.

quote:

on what grounds? that simple fact ARK offered him more money?

...Yes. That's how market value works.

If i'm an LSU rival, I just throw out a ridiculous contract "offer" to Miles every offseason just to force LSU into giving Miles unwarranted raises every offseason.

And what is the point of this? Enlighten me.

it was a clear negotiating ploy. frick him.

So....you're saying Ark did NOT give him an offer?

Once that offer was official, it showed his market value went up. regardless of your feelings, I feel like you are smart enough to know the ramifications if LSU doesn't offer him more money.

The rest of your statement is a nonsensical, that's why I didn't quote it.

b.) they up Les's pay to match or exceed Arky's offer.

They won't match, but they will raise it to at most 4.5 I'de assume

Yep, and 50% of THAT 50% are on TD

....25% of fans (for the non-math folk)

If CLM is dumb, just how much money do you arse holes make?

You just taunted the beast

srlsy? why?

As an act of good faith. If someone throws a crapton of money at him and he denies because of his loyalty to the program, you return it by giving him a little more if you can afford it. if not, when the next offer comes, he may say to himself "well if my loyalty is appreciated...."

I agree with Harbaugh's decision for him to be the starter. Regardless of hurt feelings among grown men, you can tell he has more talent and more athleticism than Alex Smith, and he oozes confidence, something 49ers offensive can feed off of. Save for a few miscues, he played damn well in the dome in a packed house.

But RG3... he ain't. The 49ers already have their scheme, where as the reds are building a scheme around RG3. Maybe in time the 49ers might change it, but its sill to early to start throwing those names together.
