bullshite. You get off on wallowing in pity and masturbating to your own self-loathing. It's not only pathetic, but it should be embarrassing. I'd tell you to pick yourself up, but you seem to be happiest rolling around in "We suck" shite.

Because to cheer for the Tigers is to hope for Miles' success. To root against Miles is to

I can't see it any other way.
Those of limited intellect frequently can't see things in any other way than the simplistic and stupid way they see them. Nobody is rooting against Miles. I think he should fired because I think he is a stupid fricker and I predict he won't succeed, but I still want him to go 14-0 and win the national championship next year. It's complicated, I know. Predicting something even though you don't want it to happen is one of those advanced concepts that they probably haven't gotten around to explaining to you sunshine pumpers yet down at the institution for the intellectually challenged.

Les reminds me of Archer
Anyone who looks at the Archer or Gerry years in comparision to the Miles yrs and says they "reminds me of Archer", at this point in Miles' career at LSU, is speaking little more than anti-Miles agenda driven BS.
Gerry/Mike saw there teams/records drop off a clift from pretty good or even great to losing seasons overall two yrs in a row, in the SEC, and w/o a sniff of a bowl invite.
Miles has seen his worst season fall to 7-5 in the regular season, have bowl invites, and rebounded the next with by going 9-3 and earning a nation ranking.
If going from 7-5 to 9-3 in the regular season is a "down-slope", I can only hope that "down-slope" continues into 10.

I know most of the time you think you're being real cute and it's really not that funny, but seriously, there are plenty of people here who've been rooting against him since he got hired.

Miles' five year record is still better than saban's.
Mack Brown's five year record at North Carolina was much much worse than Miles' or DiNardo's were at LSU, and was worse than the mathematically worst record Mike Archer could have compiled at LSU if he had been given another (his fifth) year.
A coach takes over a historically and current bottom 10 program in the country. He wins only 2 games a year for three years, then wins 5 in the fourth year. In his fifth year, his team wins 4 games, comes damn close in three others and, in addition, plays a very competitive, close game against a major powerhouse on the road. Should he be fired because of his poor 5-year record?
Now, change "bottom 10" to top 10, "wins" to loses, and "major powerhouse on the road" to Louisiana Tech at home. Does your answer change? Miles has about the same 5-year record that Larry Coker had at Miami. And like Miami did with Coker, we are waiting too long to fire him, so whoever replaces him will have a rebuilding project on his hands.

Hot Carl, you are the biggest full-of-shite idiot on TD.com. Trust me when I say that I take insults from you as compliments. If your retarded arse thinks something negative of me, then I must be in good shape. If you think I'm happier with LSU football now than I was back when we were an elite powerhouse, then you simply confirm what I already knew about you.
In short, you don't know what you're talking about and I doubt you ever will.

What I think is that you are incapable of being happy. When it comes to LSU football at least.

Awesome.
But the reason you piss me off so much Nuts is two-fold: 1) you represent a huge portion of this fanbase that only seems to be happy if they are bitching about something, a portion that is filled with insatiable insecurity and self-loathing. And as an LSU fan myself, this portion misrespresents me, and it pisses me off. 2) You are obviously very smart, and I wish you used your powers for good, instead of evil. I mean, what could you possibly be trying to accomplish with all your negativity?

I guarantee I know more about LSU, SEC and NCAA football than you will ever know.
When can we expect to see your knowledge bout "LSU, SEC and NCAA football" begin to show up in your post cause to this point in time you have showed very little of it.
You flame the LSU football program pretty good, but flaming doesn't take any special ability. Teenagers can do that.

He already has done what you predict he will not be able to do.
Help us stomp out ignorance by not having kids.

if we fire him we will never be able to get anyone else
Wait, what?
While I am skeptical about Miles and think we may settle into that Va Tech, UGA, Tenn, post 98, mode of being good every year, but not being able to get back to elite status I don't think he should be fired. That' said, the idea that we couldn't get anyone is ridiculous. As long as LSU is willing to put money into to the program, something we were not always willing to do, keep the facilities up to date and is paying top $ for Head and assistant coaches, we will be able to attract a great coach.

Out of all he has said in this thread, YOU decide to pick this out?????SAD!!!!
Its a shame for LSU fans that if Les wins 8 games next year we are stuck with him.

To the anti-Les crowd, take heart. Ara bought DiNardo's old house and as soon as he gets settled in, JA's gonna give him the job.
(I doubt anyone but the old timers on here will get that!)

When was the last time LSU fans were stuck with a coach with six winning seasons in a row? Get your head out of your arse. The smell in there is killing your brain cells.

Has it come to the point where we expect 10+ wins every year?
