Degree? Why do you keep ignoring the question?

I don't even know what the hell you're talking about anymore, but you're definitely entertaining me. So, by all means, keep it up.

Problem is winning 80% of 12 guarantees you to play a 13th.
Look at my entire post - this was supposed to be a joke.
The real joke is there are so many on here that truly hate Miles that obvious sarcasm is taken at face value.

They get added to the total just like any other game.

I get you're joking, but at least get the math right
There are some idiots that will run with what you're saying.

God, you just hate the fact that no one is agreeing with your shitty posts, don't you? Or at least no one that can string together a complete thought and DOESN'T drool all over themselves all day is agreeing with you.

Miles is solid overall.
He gets the job done. He plays in the toughest division in College football and wins most of the time.

You aren't playing only 12 games in a season if you win 80% of your games. You know exactly what I'm getting at, so why don't you just agree and move on?

So Urban Meyer will be the best since he will be able to get 11+ wins every year. He is already towards the top.

From an "oldtimer" who went thru Cholly Mac, Bill A (last best Coach) "kick off" Hallman (he won the toss and decided to ...) and Dinardo/Saban who I am glad came to LSU...
to CLM

What bothers me is that people fail to understand....its not just Alabama and Saban. First think about Miles' winning percentage. Remember these are not the Bear Bryant Alabama days or the Steve Spurrier days. In the modern era, with the most powerful conference in the history of college football, no one has done over the length of time than Miles. Saban in a shorter period has done more. And that's about it. Winning 80 percent of your games in the SEC in this time period is so much more than just the talent you recruit. And think about this for a second. What might have been a couple other years. Florida won their 2 NCs at our expense. Had we beaten Chris Leak and company in 2006 we would have gone to the NC game. We won in 2007. Auburn won a NC at our expense a couple years ago. One Cam Newton rush away there in 2010. Alabama got voted a rematch in 2011. They made the most of it, and lucked out. If we get ONE first down in 2012 against Bama, in all likleyhood, we are playing Notre Dame, not them, and no one is even talking about Saban and Bama. These three teams, coupled with LSU, make up 8 of the last 10 National Champions. In short LSU is a whisker away from playing in SIX National Championships in 9 years under Miles. And we play all three of these teams every year. With Auburn and Florida, their success was marred with inconsistant years and coaching changes. Their programs suffered WAYYY more than we did under the stability of Miles. Bama is the lone exception. Many of you have no idea who good its been.
Terrific post. Something I've never seen mentioned before was:
2011 - Oklahoma State makes a field goal against Iowa State and LSU is probably the national champion.
2012 - LSU picks up a 4th and 1 against Bama, and LSU has a very good chance to be national champion.
So....Two plays, one of which didn't even involve Alabama or LSU, and LSU might well have entered the season going for it's third straight national title.
Two plays (only one involving Bama)...two plays that could easily have gone the other way, and Alabama would be looking at 4 straight years without even an SEC West championship and Bama fans would be aching to fire Nick Saban. That's what a fine line it is. Yet everyone worships Saban and acts like he's so far superior to Miles and every other coach.
Want to talk about Miles being lucky? Nick's got that rabbit's foot, too. Two plays that get him worshipped, when he could just as easily be on the hot seat.

I have been around a tad as well. That's why I smile or roll my eyes at most of this stuff.
What Miles has done at LSU in the last 9 years is simply amazing considering how much LSU sucked for a good bit of 78-2000.
Are there screw ups and disappointments? Sure, but for the most part the past decade or so has simply been the very best of times in our history to have been as LSU fan.
Plus, Miles has done it when the SEC has been stronger than ever before.
I'm riding a high I never expected to feel as an LSU fan!

No you didn't. It's obvious. Nobody with spelling and grammar as poor as yours could graduate from college, and nobody who actually went to LSU--much less graduated--would have the lack of perspective regarding its football team that you do. Don't lie about going to my alma mater. Stop trashing my school, and stop calling LSU fans names. No need for any of it
Then how in the hell did you graduate chief?
LSU isn't "your" school pal...you don't own LSU...you're not the spokesperson for the university....you're not the SID...you're not on the payroll....you're not CLMs personal assistant (as much as you'd like to be)...your just a fan...no better than any other fan despite your high-and-mighty attitude.
How do you know where anybody went to school? You don't? So why not STFU and quit playing that same tired card.
I must have missed that elective when I was in BR...you know the one Balls...How to be a Pompous Azz 101..you obviously took it twice.
