Sounds like we are going to the bigger DE with Bain?

But Brandon has that capability and it's nice to have that capability in the bank when the play breaks down a bit. Miles seem to not value QB improvisation...something Jennings does not have and something Harris is loaded with.

I agree with assessment on Harris' ability but you can't jump to the conclusion just yet that Miles doesn't value Brandon's improvise because this story hasn't fully played out.

@CodyWorsham: Les Miles on LSU's spring quarterback battle: "Anthony Jennings probably has performed better on more days."

If that means that all the qbs are improving and Jennings is improving the most , but if it means he is still the best of a shite show . We will all just have to wait and see. I am still hoping for the best, but I know that is a bannable offense on this board.

his players' strengths. Miles does not. He forces superior talent to play in a junior high level offense.

Its dumb fricks like you that have no idea what they are talking about. We run a pro style offense. By far the most complex of all offensive schemes. Teams like Auburn and Oregon run the same exact play 50% of the snaps. People that say we run a simple or easy scheme dont understand football.

Is it really buffoonery if all those things are true and justified?

That sounds just like something one of the main jesters wearing one of those funny hats would say.

"I already know they’re better than they were last year,” he said. "To find a real quality quarterback and to have separation from one to the other, that’s what I’m looking for. I’m not necessarily seeing that.”

Jennings will be the starter.

I trust miles and the staff, there is a reason why they get paid and we talk shite on the Internet, if Jennings is the best option then go AJ10.

If you're so damn smart, how do you propose that Miles fix the problems we have on offense? Either the problem is the scheme or it's the players. You have to tailor the scheme to fit the talent, even a genuis like yourself must see that.

If Miles is happy with a guy completing 48% of his passes for 90 ypg, then we will be getting a new coach soon or Harris is truly horrible. Either way, no reason to worry

Or maybe the current problem going back to last season, was lack of confidence due to lack of experience? With more practice reps comes a greater understanding of reads & responsibilities. You can't pop kids in a microwave, press one minute & expect them to come out with a full grasp of the cerebral aspect of quarterbacking. Both Jennings & Harris seems to have a better grasp mentally from the reports & are being pushed hard right now to make it translate on the field. What those like you don't understand is that this will pay major dividends by the time the season rolls around for whoever wins the battle.

There is still a loooooooong way to go before the start of the season.

Yes, and some people will continue to hold out hope on Harris the entire time because they can't learn from the past or see the writing on the wall.

1. It's March. There isn't a game scheduled for another 5+ months

2. Miles has been here for 10+ years and you idiots still believe everything he says as the absolute truth. How many times has he said something to the media that turned out to be completely untrue? Remember how Frank Herron was a "beast" going into the season last year? He really looked like it on the field last season, didn't he? Remember when the 2008 OL was supposed to be one of the best ever?, etc., etc..

3. Maybe, just maybe, Harris is in fact, not the three time All American everyone here thinks he is. Miles has shown that they run a certain offense and that whoever the QB is has to be able to execute THAT offense. Harris may be the better talent overall, but for better or worse, Jennings may be who Miles/Cameron feels executes THEIR offense better
