My point is, people have warranted complaints, but when they start saying things along the lines of "I can do a better job"...that's just plain stupid.

no shite he knows more than a bunch of fans on a message board. that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve criticism from us. people criticize the president all the time (rightfully so), and i don't think anyone thinks they could do a better job.

This is a valid point - if the POTUS and Cabinet secretaries can be criticized then I don't see why Miles should be exempt.
Self Criticism is necessary (self = LSU team) - the problem is when they are mere opinions that are illogical and based on unsubstantiated facts.
It should be unbiased, impartial and without any slant or agenda.
We hardly come across any criticism,on the rant, that meet this criteria.

quote:99% of the posters on this board would not have let 16 seconds tick off the clock before calling a timeout at the end of the Ole Miss game (and not have been confused as to when or if it was called and how many you had left AFTER the game). 99% of the posters on this board know you can't "clock it" with 1 second left. I don't think it is stupid AT ALL to suggest that plenty of non coaches could have handled the end of the Ole Miss game better than our 4 Million Dollar man.

Dinardo and Hallman also know more football than anyone on this board as well so what is your point dumbass? Saban and Meyer know more football than Les. Last time I checked he was coaching against them not the fans. Stupid post. Same type of idiot that refuses to give Saban any credit for what he has done at Bama the last 2 years going undefeated in 2 straight regular SEC seasons. Something never accomplished by Les and something he has never come close to doing. Unfortunately this is what Les has to face. Time will tell if he is equal to the task so far he is 3 and 5 games from a tie with Saban the last 2 years.

I've stated my points 3 times already, this not directed at everyone, if you can't grasp that concept I'm sorry.

I don't care about that.
Does he know more than his peers?

everyone is grasping it, they're just reiterating that point

I imagine he learned a long time ago not to give a shite what the fans think
Posted on 3/2/10 at 12:09 am to Tmon225
You're right, I'd clock it with two seconds left.

I disagree.
You may be able to gather 6 monkeys, throw a few pencils out there, and they may be able to draw up running the option better than we do.

Dude, is that even possible? From the reports this year, our poor play was directly related to the bashing Les read on TD. So if he's on the site and yet still knows more than the sum of the site... That sounds made up Clark.

Why don't you go PATCH some bama board and leave LSU to us....GUMP.. you and your opinions are not wanted on this board...GTFO...

So don't you ever scrutinize or criticize anything ever again because that person knows more about his/her job than you do. And if you do, you're a big fat hypocrite.
