But dandy don said he was in the top two for both jobs ?
just sayin' that he were being courted by those two schools, he would be on some booster's jet, not paying his way to go see them

IMO I seriously doubt any big time program takes a gamble with him. I feel that he might get a offer from one of the smaller programs.

How late was his plane?
Posted on 11/12/16 at 3:28 am to Mars duMorgue
I'm just guessing here.... he got off the fist flight at Gate 12, knowing he had a 25 minute layover before boarding at Gate13. He was scrambling nervously to get on the connection, wasn't he?
My heart will always love Les for what he did for LSU. But! My heart sure doesn't miss the stress.

you'd be surprised the people that fly commercial. back in the day i was flying out of Memphis for work on a Monday morning and sat next to Brian Bosworth.
The beat up has=been version of Bosworth. He was tv guy for the XFL. the one Vince McMahan started.

Les was not really flying. He was having some fast kids run the plane's route.
He could not trust his pilots to fly the plane.
Parables and whatnot.

Because he can't bilk any more money or fringe benefits out of LSU.

wonder why he's flying commercial?
Cause a private jet will run you many many 1000's for a simple round trip....like 20k to go to Vegas and back on a Gulfstream....
Or, he could fly first class commercial for about 1500.

When there is a specific flying situation then guys have to make a decision about flying and some get tickets. I like to think I would order online but at the end of the day you may just have to go get them at the airport but either way you have to consider going to the airport. - me attempting to create a Les Miles type of quote

I heard he's interviewing for the notre dame job and the texas job. He will get to pick which one he wants. Both administrations are impressed with the direction he had us going
Did a booster's plane come to Baton Rouge from Austin/South Bend?
Posted on 11/12/16 at 3:47 pm to J Murdah
That would be scary, and not in a good way.

Herman to Texas. Miles to Purdue or Notre Dame.
