Les Miles bashing thread got me thinking

Why don’t we just hire the best coach out there every year in all sports. Who gives a frick about appreciating the people who wanted to work here and did the best they could. Just go out and get the best. That way we can be the best and we won’t have fans calling our winningest coaches bumbling idiots with no substance of argument other than muh he was so dumb you guys.
It’s also important we enact this strategy asap before other universities read my post and beat us to it.

I mean I personally love Brian Kelly. There are a shitload of people here who don’t. I just don’t see any situation where there isn’t significant complaining about the coach no matter who we hire and no matter what sport.

No one cares man. Get off your period and grow up, we paid him millions of dollars as a token of our an appreciation for his mediocre effort from 2012 onward. Go volunteer or something if you want to be nice to people for giving life the old college try, a multibillion dollar entertainment industry isn’t the outlet for that

A lot of people on here don’t deserve to enjoy the successes LSU has. They’re a bunch ungrateful asswipes that are jealous of Les and O, especially O considering he’s just a baw from Louisiana that likes getting fricked up and having a good time. They think they’re smarter than them so they could win a title at LSU too if they were just lucky like them. In reality they don’t have 1/10th of the charisma, work ethic or the balls it takes.

I feel like the fanbase overall is still positive about Kelly, as he’s delivered a Heisman winner and 2 10 win seasons. He fired House and Polian (when people thought he wouldn’t) and has stabilized our program. Also, our 2025 recruiting class will atleast be a Top 5 class headed by Underwood.
Those who are bitching entirely about Kelly are either trolling or just dense on purpose.
These next 2 years are vital in his tenure to stabilize the defense and seeing if we can take that next step up.

I never like Miles because he's a weirdo.
A friend of mine who was a huge Tiger fan was dating a lady who had a 15 year old daughter. She told my friend that her daughter was friends with Les on FB and he communicated with her all the time. Even through text messages. My buddy thought it was probably some grad assistant running the FB page & talking to her.
None of the messaging was bad or sexual, just weird that a grown man would be texting with a 15 year old girl. My buddy thought it was BS but the mom said that they'd been offered suite tickets to the next game. They went to pick up the tickets and none other than Les brought them out.
Just weird.

This one I’m pissed about not that he fired him, but that he hired him in the first place. That cost us a championship in his second year. Otherwise I think he’s done a fantastic job.
