Say what you want to about les, but his teams came out and played Bama tough in almost every game he faced them in

Yes, it got worse last 3 seasons, but from 2005-2012 (and 14) the team played tough

You’re wrong because you think Saban was ever scared of Les Miles. I figured my chode laughing was pretty self explanatory you count.

Les went 3-7 against a Saban-coached Alabama team. 2005 and 2006 was Shula.

People still believe he was a good coach here

He was as good as any other coach LSU has had. He started to slip in the end but he had a solid 11 years here as the head coach.

Of course that's just my opinion, but I believe the LSU record books will back me up.

Les miles lost 3 games vs Bama in which his team was leading in the 4 quarter

The fact remains: LSU played Bama tough the vast majority of miles’ stint here

I don't wish him ill. I'm certainly happy we've moved on.
Seems like a good guy. Dude has some issues though.

They were in the Orange Bowl a mere 12 years ago. Quit acting like they’ve never had success. Mangino had them rolling.

That's right. Just a "mere" 12 years ago. Almost like it happened yesterday.

Just a "mere" 12 years ago, Coach o was finishing up his horrendous 3 year 10 win 25 loss career at Ole Miss. Almost like it happened yesterday.

Right?

By the way, that Kasas program has gone 31-102 in the 11 years since that 12 win Orange Bowl season.

And remember how that played out in 2007 at home with Les doing that shite? Triple OT L. Last game I ever attended with my dad.

They always made of Les ... except when we wanted to fire him and every person on Gameday said that we were a ludicrous fan base with unrealistic expectations.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but man does it sure seem like ESPN goes out of its way to protect the blue bloods in every college sport. They wanted Les to stay here forever and for us to permanently accept our place in line behind Bama.

I actually agree.

And then the next year they became Interim O’s biggest champion.

He very well might. He might have a worse record than that. He might have a better record than that.

I don't know what he'll accomplish. You don't know what he'll accomplish. Nobody here does.

....but for that clock management hickup at the end of that Auburn game Les Miles might still be the coach at LSU. That was the straw that broke the camel's back IMO.

I wish him luck at Kansas.
