He is saying losing 15-0 is worse than losing 45-3 because the team that lost 45-3 only got outscored by 12 times. Its fricking stupid. Only in a rantards head is losing by 21 worse than losing by 28. There needs to be an iq test posters have to take before they can post.

Its hard to understand how losing by 21 is worse than losing by 28.

The math lesson is Notre dame lost by more points than lsu did.
That's not a math lesson. Do you know the answer to my problem or not?

The reasoning youre using is saying getting beat 15-0 is worse than getting beat 45-3 because the team that got beat 45-3 was only outscored by 12 times as many points while the team that lost 15-0 was outscored by 0 times. Thats fricking ignorant.
Not a single fact in this entire quote.
This is your thread. You created it because you wanted to discuss facts. Not biased opinions. Why can't you follow your own rules?
And 45 would be 15 times 3, not 12. Real math wiz offering to teach math lessons here.

You seem to have a really dumb argument. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove

Lastly and most importantly, all this nonsense about pulling starters is just more biased opinions. This here is a facts thread only.
so you think they didn't let up when they were up 35-0?
that Notre dame is just better than us even though they gave up 6 TDs and we gave up 5 fg and a td.
I mean it is a krill fight, but notre dame lot worse.
Precedent be damed.
worse is worse.

This thread is about facts. Thinking doesn't apply here.

The facts are nobody looks at multiples of scores, they look at the scores themselves. Congrats though, you math good

That's not a fact at all. Just another biased opinion.

I'm pretty sure I've never seen sportscenter discuss multiples of scores. Continue to double down though

Since Miles was hired at lsu....
1.No power5 program has more wins than lsu.
2.no program has been ranked in the top 25 more weeks than lsu.
3.no program in cfb has beaten more ranked teams.
4. No sec team has more sec titles
5. No sec west team has more west titles.
6.no program in all of cfb has more ooc wins.
He has done all these great things during the most successful era of sec football, EVER.
A Les Miles team has destroyed Notre Dame, Ohio State, Miami ( when they were a good top 10 team), Va Tech, West Va ( twice), Oregon, TCU, and Washington.
These are facts. You have the right to your opinions, but not the right to your own facts. The facts are that no era of lsu football has been more successful than the Les Miles era. Deal with it. Im proud to call him our coach even during our worst season in 5-6 years.
P.S. all these great accomplishments on the field while sporting the 2nd highest grad rate in the sec.
This sounds like the argument Bama was using while they were irrelevant in the early 2000's. "Our program has done this and that.....we are the winningest program......blah blah."
Reality is Les Miles is an offensive-minded coach and our offense has been below average for 4 or 5 of the past 7 years since we won the NCG. While I agree that his 10 years at LSU has been very good, it doesn't change the fact that he's done a piss poor job with the offense this year and his inability to try all options to win a game has given the fan base a good reason to question his thought process. It doesn't take a genius to look at the rest of the SEC and realize that we are falling farther behind on that side of the ball. Several teams with less "star power" are generating far more offense that we are against the same opposition.
If you want to champion CLM, I won't blame you. I don't think he needs to be fired. He had a great recruiting class last year and will have two more coming in in 15 and 16. However, that talent needs to be put in position to be successful on the field and right now the coaching is getting in the way of that. What we don't need from CLM is him telling us "we will need two QBs moving forward" or that Harris will get an opportunity to play. We need to see it. Help us as a fanbase have faith that they as a coaching staff are actively trying to find a solution to the glaring problem with our football team instead of doing the stupid crap over and over and then looking completely confused as to why it didn't work during press conferences.

Well if you're pretty sure then that can't be a fact now can it?

It's a fact. Look, I've made dumb arguments before. It's not a big deal. Just turn the computer off and try again tomorrow

Good one. Answer me this. A baseball team loses a game 0-2 one night, then 3-9 the next night. Which one did they have a better chance of winning?

I admire your enthusiasm but it should be mentioned that . . .
1) Since '05 and as of last week, we and Bama are now tied for # of wins at 102.
The WVU '10 score was 20-14 not really "destroyed" them, the TCU game score was very close late in the game, and we didn't destroy UW in '09.

Dude, you really don't get it.
Jaxtiger created this thread to talk about facts. This is not the place for hypotheticals. Go start another thread for that and I'll be happy to oblige.
