Miles is much the same - and he's definitely not much of a gameday coach, but he'll win in spite of himself, beating our opponents with pure speed and strength.

There is some myth that lsu is just more talented than every team they play. That is false. We average a #9 class under miles. Therefore we aren't the most talented. I'm not one for rankings cus I believe any given year there are 10-15 teams that are equally as talented.

The teams we lost to over the past few years all have had at least one cycle they were rated higher than us in the last 5 years. Bama, Ole miss, UF, uga and Clemson. The only one not as talented or more talented is Ole miss. But let's not act like Ole miss doesn't have guys that will play in the NFL.

So what you're saying is we should only have, AT MOST, one loss a season? Because I think only Bama would be higher in the SEC on average.

As usual, you're misinformed.
Lee actually improved and had better RAT in games after JJ was reinstated, save Bama.

With a twelve game seasons and a bowl game 10 wins is not all that great. That's losing to Bama, UF, and losing a chick fil a bowl. That's not all that great.

Miles is a good coach and good person, but he is nowhere close to being as good as Bobby Bowden as a coach or person. Get a grip!! There is no comparison, and even mentioning them in the same sentence is an insult to BB. Meanwhile, the house that BB built is #2 in the nation (should be #1) after crushing two top 10 teams Clemson and Miami. LSU has lost to 1 top 10 team and 1 unranked team.

What an arsenine comment. Have a longer memory than just this season. LSU has had a much better run over Les Miles' tenure than FSU. The house that BB built is good THIS year but hasnt been for a while - plus it's not b/c of a house that BB built it's b/c of Jimbo Fisher's 3 yrs of top 10 recruiting classes.

"masterpiece of coaching" in 2011? uh no.
Unless it was masterful to take an offense that was well balanced, raking up yardage and points to one that couldn't make a first down against Georgia in the first half, and then make no changes for the N.C.

I disagree. Maybe his stats didn't indicate it, but Lee was never the same after JJ came back. He seemed much less relaxed on the field, probably because he knew that Miles was waiting for an excuse the pull the plug on him.

Sure. Look at what he did at Okie St. He had a better record there than JIMMY JOHNSON. And he built a foundation that Gundy was able to build on. People act like LSU was his first job and he wasn't spectacularly successful before he got here. And, in way, he was the Saban of OSU and Gundy is the Miles. Miles has been cast in both roles. And succeeded at both.

And a special thank you to all of the brain dead rantards still throwing out the Larry Coker comparisons. It's dumb fricks like you that make it so damn comforting to know if that we are absolutely on the right side of this debate.

To all the Miles haters and those who worship Saban, there is a web site called Amazon. You can find any kind of Alabama merchandise you want on there. Go ahead and buy you a few shirts, maybe a few hats while you are at it. Then, you can root for Alabama and Saban, be happy with their success, and then maybe your life wouldn't be so miserable. There is nothing stopping you from being a Bama supporter.

Are you saying it's impossible to dislike the president and still be patriotic? If so you're a fricktard! I guess everybody that doesn't support Obama needs to geaux to Amazon and buy a flag of Afghanistan and fly it. Your a dumb arse! I don't like LSU bc of the coach you arrogant prick! I loved LSU before Saban and after Saban before Miles and still love LSU! I have lived in six different states and proudly wore all my LSU stuff in each state! So mr. "god", don't think you have earned the right to tell me what to wear or who to cheer for! Geaux frick yourself!

So I guess if we don't thinks it's quiets accurate to compare CLM to the all time winningest coach in division one we are a hater ha?

Please go back to school before replying to me again. And no, I will never put CLM in the same class as Bowden. But yet I am still a true Tiger(ah) fan! Just not the real deal bro retard like you.

Well, of course it went up until we played Alabama. Then he turned into a deer in the headlights again. 1 TD 7 career INTs against Bama.

2 INTs on SEVEN attempts in the GOTC.

Miles knew JJ, despite his limitations, gave us the best chance against a D like Bama's. Lee's limitations would have cost us the game. JJs at least left us the opportunity to win if the D and STs could dominate like they had all year.

JJ had very good career numbers against Bama before 1/9. Had never turned the ball over. The game plan was the same that got us to 13-0. Run the ball, don't turn the ball over, wait for D and ST to make game changing plays and then make them pay.

But AJ played great and never turned the ball over and they bled us to death while their deer sprayed front 7 mauled our OL all night with some play book tips from Crowton.

The way their front 7 owned our OL it would have been a ND type blowout had Lee played but we ended up with the slowout with JJ instead.

It is what it is. We didn't get to 13-0 because of QB play and didn't lose the 1 solely because of QB play either.

DWI

How bout you move to a seventh state so this state will have one less stupid frick in it. You are a whiny little bitch that loves to suck off Saban. You shite on all the accomplishments of this team over the years because of your man crush of a certain coach who is not coming back. Get over it! Saban wasn't fired and replaced by Miles, he quit on this university because he thought he could do better in the NFL. We needed a new coach and hired one who has been extremely successful. Whenever you are ready, let me know. I'll order you some Bama shirts. They need more "fans" like you.

For what it's worth! I actually agree with you and was being sarcastic. If you would have read my previous comments you'd see that I think it's absurd to compare the two.
