Don't let the sunshine pumpers hear you say that. I actually think that Larry Coker is a very analogy to Miles. Miles will never win another NC at LSU and his once-gaudy won/loss record will continue to lose it's luster every time Bama wins another SEC and/or NC. You're insulting Bobby B. by comparing him to Miles, but Larry Coker is a fair comparison.

So if Miles were to be hired in 2000, do you believe he would be as successful as he is today?

Sure. Look at what he did at Okie St. He had a better record there than JIMMY JOHNSON. And he built a foundation that Gundy was able to build on. People act like LSU was his first job and he wasn't spectacularly successful before he got here. And, in way, he was the Saban of OSU and Gundy is the Miles. Miles has been cast in both roles. And succeeded at both.

Yeah, real lazy comparison actually. Coker got worse every year he was at Miami.

Good lord LSU fans are stupid. It's the day before the biggest game of the year and there are fans shitting all over Les Miles.

We need to fire him before its too late. Lane kiffin is still out there he can save LSU. *sarcasm. Im with you LSU has some of the worst fans. You literally cannot be so stupid to think he is a bad coach. HE WON A CHAMPIONSHIP WITH HIS OWN PLAYERS. I am ashamed to be a LSU fan.

I would like some evidence that Miles landed a top recruiting class and had a ten win season while at osu. Please show me this data sir.

He was there 4 seasons. Why is it necessary for him to have a 10 win season or a top recruiting class in Stillwater to prove Baloo's point?

He took over a team with 3 consecutive losing seasons and turned them into a 9 win team and contenders in the division. It's not farfetched to think if he stayed there longer he would have had 10 win seasons and top recruiting classes.

He didn't win 10 games. He won 9. He also had three straight winning seasons at a program that had one winning season in the previous 11 years, prior to his hire. His 28-21 record at OSU gave him a win percentage of 571, the highest win percentage for any coach at OSU who had been there 2 seasons or more since World War II (Gundy has since surpassed it).

If you can't see that as an incredibly successful run at a school that traditionally has zero onfield success, then that says more about you than the quality of the evidence.

He was comparing the platform that Saban left for Miles to the platform Miles left for Gundy! It's not even close.

LM is no better than Dinardo with 10 win seasons. I don't want to hear that NC discussion. You saw his own NC style on 1/9.

Which school was sitting on a hotbed of recruiting?

Hint: It wasn't OSU.

I love the rant to. If you don't rate CLM at Bowden status, then the Miles lovers assume you rate him at Denardo status! There can't possibly be an in between ha bro? Nope, that concept can't exist!

Not really. He didn't say Miles left OSU at the level Saban left LSU. He only made the comparison that Miles has had success taking over a bad team as well as taking over a top team.

6 yrs in the Coker program was 7-6 and playing in some computer bowl while the Miles program was 13-1 and playing for the BCS title.

I swear you guys crack me up with your football retarded comments.

Be honest....you are a ULL fan, huh. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee be a ULL fan. I hate to think we have fans as football mentally challenged as you.

To all the Miles haters and those who worship Saban, there is a web site called Amazon. You can find any kind of Alabama merchandise you want on there. Go ahead and buy you a few shirts, maybe a few hats while you are at it. Then, you can root for Alabama and Saban, be happy with their success, and then maybe your life wouldn't be so miserable. There is nothing stopping you from being a Bama supporter.
