But they didn't suck in 2013 because of talent and Miles couldn't' even mess that up.

Maybe that had something to do with having a 5th year senior at QB. How come the same group didn't put up the same type of numbers in 2012 especially when looking at the 3rd down efficiency numbers?

I think this is Cam Cameron's offense. i don't think it is working.

Cam has input but he is running what Miles wants to run with Miles ultimately being the real decision maker. You mean to tell me a coach who had RB's who near the top or at the top of the NFL (LT & Ray Rice) in receptions & receiving yardage is now refusing to throw the ball to a once in generation RB? Yeah, guy who is known for utilizing the TE now hardly includes them into the passing game plan? C'Mon man, you don't believe that shite yourself.

No competent OC wants to work with Miles.

Only people he can find are desperate for a job. Nobody is coming here to work with Les to advance their career.

It's what you would call a CLM - and that's a career limiting move, not coach Les Miles.

Ironic, huh?

I love how most tards on this board think Cam is horrible. Ya'll think he is a horrible developer of QB's, a horrible play caller, and just a bad choice. However, if you really take the time to reassert his entire body of work instead of cherry picking a few bad moments in his career to support your ignorant agenda, then you would see he is the best OC/QB developer we have had.

Oh, and read any of the NFL critics regarding Cam and you will see more than enough evidence to prove he is pretty damn good. And ask Trent Green, Gus Frerotte, Antwaan Randle El, Drew Breese, Phillip Rivers, etc if he can coach QB's.

Maybe it's not that he sucks as much as young player development or Les meddling in the offense. If Les is back next year then so should Cam. It is stupid not to bring him back.

Because Stud sucked.

So clearly a different OC changed things

But G-d forbid you admit that.

He wasn't dealing with Sophomore QBs with no pass protection in the NFL. He only had Drew Brees Phillip Rivers and Joe Flacco. Go look, LF is out there running routes, Harris doesn't get down to him in the progressions. He also had 3 passes last year.

You just won't get it dude. No matter who the oc is miles has had his hands all over the offense every year he has been here. For some reason you will never put blame on miles.

Do you think you are the first person to say that in this thread?

I am just saying maybe we have Bad OC's. People keep saying "Les Miles' offense" "This is what he has always run"

They are wrong. We have fundamentally different offenses under different OCs. So if they are wrong about that, Maybe just Maybe they are wrong about Les Miles meddling.

Ok you win. Miles does nothing on the offensive side of the ball. Miles is at fault for nothing the last two weeks. He is the greatest hc in football history. He deserves a huge raise for how great this team has looked the last two weeks....

No shite but Cameron took players Stud had & turned in the best offensive season in LSU history.

Yep & Cam each & everyone of them as rookies. He helped mold them into the quarterbacks we know them as today. Where's Miles offensive accolades & former players who credit Miles with their fundemental development as players? I'll wait.

He's drawn his line in the sand. Let him be. I've always been a Miles supporter but I'm not gonna sit here & overlook what has occurred both past & present. One constant remains & that Miles. There's plenty of quotes in this thread alone that says he's wrong. Dude needs to deal in reality & not some make believe world.

Is there somewhere between the two?

It just seems fricking stupid to blame a bad offense on Les and only Les when Gary Crowton was our OC for 4 years.

I agree, Les should have very little input. That's wat the OC is for.

Les is the HBC and has ever right to have all the input that he wants to have. It's his team, as of today.
