The Ravens did nothing different after he left. Caldwell is the coach of the Detroit Lions - 2-7. So he's better?

I thought the rumbling in Baltimore were that he was fired for not feeding Ray Rice enough...
It was but read my post above. It was a load of crap. The numbers say differently.

Not only that, their offense is absolute dog shite despite all the offensive firepower they have.

Was going to say they ran Cameron's offense all the way to the super bowl, nothing changed.
I really dont think Cameron is a bad OC, Les just meddles way too much into the offense. There are plays we've ALWAYS had under Les, all these OCs dont have those plays.

Either way, I doubt the OC even matters. The one constant is Les and his generally atrocious offenses
]Is Gary Crowton a good OC?
Yes or No? Before you blame Les answer that.

How much more evidence do these people want to show that Les is the problem behind the simplistic offense?
Not saying you're wrong, but this...

Was Jimbo Fisher not Successful with Les?
Yeah, LSU had a good offense in 2005 and 2006, but I think that's definitely a different scenario.
If Les knows anything about coming into an organization as the new top executive, he knows you don't just come in and say "we're burning the whole thing down and starting from scratch."
You work with the people who have been invested in the organization and trust their experience and insight.
It's pretty obvious the differences you see in LSUs offense in '05 and '06 vs. '07 and beyond.
Jimbos offense features getting playmakers the ball in space and letting them do their thing. The bubble screens with Josh Reed and the tunnel screens were the epitome of this. That concept seems to be anathema to LSU now.

Interesting to think about the 2 OCs he wasn't really responsible for hiring/selecting and how successful they have been without him.... Jimbo Fisher and Mike Gundy.

Example the dive toss. Nothing against the dive toss but I remember when Cam was hired he said he would eliminate the play from the playbook because there is no way to run play action off of it. 3 years later, the dive toss is still a staple of the LSU offense. But Miles has no say so, right?

So he found a way to run a play action off of it anyway.

Henson's current offensive issues at Missouri has nothing to do with his statement that Les is in control of the offenses under him & has to have it his way. Are we gonna laugh at Mike Gundy too because Gundy has said the exact same things interviews himself about Les?

The 1 WR routes out of I-tight formations...AWFUL

Yeah, the damned flea-flicker, which as we know works repeatedly in the same game.

Please pull up a YouTube highlight where the team runs a play action fake off the dive toss. TIA.

Like I said, I'm not disagreeing with you because it's obvious that Les has a style of play that he prefers. But seriously, you were better off leaving it at Mike Gundy.

They were 9-4, they finished the regular season 1-2 after he was fired, and have a 20-21 record since winning the Superbowl. Don't let the fact that Joe Flacco went insane for that playoff run to cloud your judgment of a great OC.
Don't let the fact that the Ravens defense is as lost as the city Atlantis trying to find itself after all its usual big names are gone/retired. The offense is performing better than it used to ranking in the top 15 of the NFL and setting franchise records under Kubiak last year since Cameron left.
The 20-21 record isn't because of the ravens offense since Cameron.

And like I said, Henson's struggles at Missouri have nothing to do with what observed on the staff at Oklahoma St while under Miles.

But why is it completely insane for someone to say the difference is because Jimbo was a good OC, and everyone we have had since isn't a good OC?
Gary Crowton- terrible before, terrible after. He is just a bad OC.
KragStud was just a mess. Stud isn't an OC, shouldn't have ever been an OC, and wasn't even our choice for OC.
Cam Cameron is the only one you can argue is a good OC hampered by Les.
Why would a coach come in and not want to take control of his own team?

all that offensive fire power of Kamar Aiken, Chris Givens, Marlon Brown, Crockett Gilmore, and Maxx Williams, and when you change of pace running back is Buck Allen? Yea some real big name fire power they are working with this year.
