Fact is LSU QB play has been below par (look at the stats if you may, compare it to other colleges with top 5 recruiting classes, go ahead) and at this point only sub-par coaching by paid professionals is to blame.
you have indeed brought up some facts, but this isn't one of them. you say ONLY coaching is to blame. that is not a fact. everyone of the QB's you mentioned were not good passers. a coach cannot make a player into something he's not. you can blame the coach on poor evaluation and somewhat on play calling but you can't blame the coach when a kid can't complete passes to WR's that are wide open.
i'm not blaming the kid alone for all of his issues but he damn sure should take ownership of his flaws. at some point it is not "somebody else's" fault. his accuracy is very unreliable; if you deny that you are blind. that is not a coaches fault, or his mommy, or society, etc.
and yes, it is a fact that we have lost 4 of the last regular season games and we are now a middle of the pack SEC team. and Les Miles is 100% responsible for that and should pay the consequences just like BH should.

You do realize he said blessed and Harris retweeted. Then TBJ responded to the retweet saying I followed God and B Harris told him he's smart for following God. You tell me where the wrong is in that exchange. At least that's the way I saw it. I don't know the exact order of what was said.

If you are Brandon Harris, what do you make of what happened Saturday?
8 days before that your coach and supposed leader was telling you that you were his guy, or not telling you anything but letting you believe it.
Then one bad performance plus two bad series and you're DONE? Because the backup looked good for a quarter against an FCS school?
Mentally that's far worse than knowing going in that you were going to split time until a clear starter emerged.
What happened just doesn't make sense, and I don't believe Harris would act out on Twittet if Les was talking him through it like a leader should, acting above board, and setting clear expectations on both sides.

Skip once said ,"It is not your fault, it is mine since I recruited you." When have we had a top QB?

absolutely nothing. in that case, I hope the truth will come out. for Brandon's sake. he is being portrayed as an entitled little brat on here. this crowd is ready to tar and feather anyone from King on down right now. the problem with message boards is that people take rumor as fact and run with it. hell,i guess that's true with voters too. in todays world one is guilty even if proved innocent if the person wants you to be guilty.

I did not see his tweet, but what is wrong with what he said? Harris knows better than anyone that Tyron made the right decision because Harris would never make it through his progressions to find Tyron, his third option, and if he did, Harris would sail the pass over his head. So as long as Harris is the QB, Tyron would never get the receptions that he wanted.

It's all about Brandon....Miles went out on quite a big limp for him

This may not be the greatest measurable or end-all but I agree. You just got a sense that he knew what he was doing, and the rest of the team responded and maybe even trusted him.
Let us be honest, he is not physically imposing and does not have Farves's arm. He showed some poise and effectively managed a quarter that turned the game around [It appeared (and I am by no means an expert) that the game was 'slower' for him in the 2nd quarter]. With the talent surrounding an LSU QB, that is all that is required. There may be some situational things where Harris would be the more reasonable choice. I hope he gets over this and contributes in any way he is needed.
An additional item, I pray that the offensive line has worked the rust out and shines on Saturday.

I agree with Tarzan here. If Harris wants to transfer, let him leave, though I'd rather see him do what a real leader does, which is bust his arse to take his job back rather than run at the first sign of adversity.

What do think happened with Jordan Jefferson, Jarrett Lee, Anthony Jennings and now Brandon Harris? Is the evidence of below-par QB play not enough for you? Have you not seen the play calling which never actually helps our QBs?
It's easy to blame a 19/20 year old, when they lash out. Wrong as it is, it's a human reaction to a very tough situation and he will be disciplined and will learn from it. Don't forget he's doing it for free and has worked his butt off. But let's not give a pass to the horrible coaching.
The man who makes $4m+ is answerable. If you want to talk 'facts' Mr Grandad, fact is LSU has lost 4 of last 5 regular season games. Fact is we're now a mediocre middle of the pack SEC team. Fact is we recruit at the highest level and we don't finish top 5/10 consistently enough based on recruiting. Fact is LSU QB play has been below par (look at the stats if you may, compare it to other colleges with top 5 recruiting classes, go ahead) and at this point only sub-par coaching by paid professionals is to blame.
How dem facts for you?
Well Stated...

Almost never do we have examples of Les Miles losing the locker room... And he has had some very tough decisions.

I'm so fricking tired of these twitter soap operas. Do the gumps and Saban have them?
This all goes back to Miles and his lack of discipline that's obvious on the field and obvious in this drama we go through with players.
Les has set an atmosphere the last few years where the coaches are the players' benevolent and indulgent uncles. Some players have character to discipline themselves and some do not.
An onfield example of this nursery school Miles is running is the sideline scene on national TV last year when Keehn shanked his umpteenth punt. He comes to the sideline with that disgusting little smirk on his face and Les smiles indulgently and BDP laughs and claps him on the shoulder.
Hell, coaches can forbid players going to bars during the season, then they sure as hell can ban them from social media.
Bottom line, I'm sick of this toxic, undisciplined, drama-filled atmosphere that Miles has spawned. I am so ready for him to be gone. I hope Alleva pulls the plug with the very next loss.

Now, Harris gets on Twitter and tweets out to Tyron Johnson that he made the right decision to transfer?
Sounds like he is thinking very clearly. Who could argue that T Johnson made the wrong decision.

I suspected BH was trouble first when his high school coach and he pissed and moaned his freshman year and considered transfering...and I blame CLM for putting himself in such weak positions due to his poor and weak QB recruiting...

Harris went to my high school and I've supported him from day one......BUT, if he really tweeted this (and I have no reason to doubt you), then fuq him and the horse he rode in on.
This schit does nothing to help our team or the perception of the coaching staff. Miles needs to jerk a knot in his azz and tell to shut that schit up.
