I'm confused by the OP's tactics. Are suggesting that Les is hiring Aranda and/or Orgeron to KANSAS???

Bo Pelini was under rated.
Gary Crowton did his usual of being good the first year and worse each succeeding year. Would have been a much better hire if Les had fired him after the BCSCG the first season.

Absolutely. If Aranda was the best, Pelini was his second-best hire for sure.
Also, Chavis was pretty good for most of his tenure here. Steele just didn't have a great cast. Les hired pretty good DCs for the most part.

Malleveto was axed after one year of failure.
Crowton was let go after 2010 and in hindsight was handcuffed by Jefferson (to whom Les WAS irrationally loyal)
The truth is CLM brought in some top notch coordinators (remember Stud was only O.C. because Krags got Parkinson’s).
Alleva screwed us by firing him mid season.
