There is a need. Because all you pro Lessers were jerking each other off saying how good he'd be at Kansas lmao.
So basically what you are admitting is that you are such a petty person that you have to wish for someone to fail so that you can prove that you were right about an argument on the internet that happened years ago.
Let that sink in for a moment.
Now get up from the computer, go outside and get some fresh air and then come back and enjoy this era of LSU football.

Nah I just don't get the unconditional love for Les. Especially when he was so stubborn here

Haha frick Leslie!

As someone that wanted Les to modernize his offense in 2007 (after the Alabama win on the road no less), I was more than ready for him to go in 2015.
That being said, why shite on the man now. He loves LSU. I don't get the hate for the man. As opposed to good riddance, I feel it is more appropriate to say good luck. He seems like he will need it at Kansas.

Don't get the hate? He squandered years of talent with his insistence on running an archaic offense

Give him his credit with a NCS....BUT, 'What have you done for me lately'. Poor Les is done! LSU should have gotten rid of him about three years sooner.
Bye Bye Les........
NO!!!! You people need to open your eyes. He is that guy, He was what you see at Kansas. An average coach who had more talent than most of the teams he faced. He no longer has that and he will go 1-11 this year. He got lucky week 1. Had to come from behind in the last couple of minutes for the win to an FCS school or he would have gone 0-12.
I read their board this morning. Big time buyers remorse. We should have gotten rid of him 11 years sooner.

Not Cam’s, not Crowton’s, HIS terrible fricking offense.
Check the LSU Media Guide, and yes most of these Top 5 marks were set under different OCs.
#1 Win%
#1 NC trophies (tie)
#1 NC appearances
#1 SEC titles (tie)
#1 SECW titles (tie)
#1,2,3 in PPG
#1,2,4,5 Scoring
#1,2,3,4 Offensive TDs
We hope to see 2019 take it's place in the record book along with with SEC and NC trophies, but your post is totally uninformed.

Benny some people just don't want to hear the truth. Miles coached at LSU so forget about all the stupid shite. Those people will never admit we were very lucky to get that one NC. But that is a fact. NO other coach in the BCS era played in an NCG with 2 loses. Pure luck to get in that game. Just look at what had to happen on the last weekend.

and yet he is still the winningest coach in LSU history. It has been almost three years since he fired. If you people are still hating on Les or the mere mention of him brings you to rant level retard then you need psychiatric care ASAP.
Yes, that is my professional medical opinion.

Ok. So explain why it is such a shite show in Kansas. I'm telling you now that MF will go 1-11 or 2-10 and he won't finish his 1st contract.
No one is arguing those numbers you post are fake news. But they sure as hell don't mean Miles is a good coach. With that Fing monster Saban built at Bama, he could be out the rest of the year and they will win 10 or 11 games.
If you think Les has lost his marbles or has some mental disease since he left LSU you are sorely mistaken.

Please shut the frick up
so tired of the no-context pseudo-intellectual douches like you who tout his numbers.
Why don’t you do me a favor and name a single LSU football coach who took over with even 25% of the talent that he did? Or took over the program when it was coming off of a national championship a year before? Or was handed elite coordinators on both sides of the ball? Or took over state of the art facilities? Context matters, and idiots like you don’t understand that. Saban made this a different program and he greatly benefited from that.
So yea, you’re the uninformed one. People like you have absolutely nothing to lean on aside from a bunch of meaningless stats which don’t tell the whole story of his tenure.
Since we’re looking at stats and stats only, we can put Miles right next to Jordan Jefferson in the LSU football hall of fame since Jefferson was, by all statistical accounts, a top 5 quarterback in LSU history.

Les and Kansas lost to Coastal Carolina 12-7. QB was 13/19 107 yards. Good riddance.

There’s really no need for this
There was also no need for everyone to start thread after thread talking about how Les was going to turn Kansas into a solid program when everyone with half a brain knew he wasn’t.
There were many, many people who would fight tooth and nail to never admit that Les was benefiting from our embarrassment of riches as a program and wasting a ton of it with HIS terrible offense.
Not Cam’s, not Crowton’s, HIS terrible fricking offense.
Meanwhile, we’re beating the top 10 team in the country on the road with a high powered offense, oh yea, and Ed fricking Orgeron is the guy doing it. Every single person who ever said that we’d be worse off without Les should have to sit in this thread and admit how wrong they were
Preach it Brother!
Someone telling the truth.

Read my post. I complained about our offense beginning in 07 (a championship year no less). Even then, Saban stacked the box. We won that game (and the title), but the blueprint for future games was set. Saban simply needed the talent.
That being said...I don't get the hate. I was frustrated as a fan, but Les is who he is. Besides, he brought us a shite load of success. He should have ridden off into the sunset after the A&M win. Such is life. He is in his new gig and I wish him the best.

I dislike him as a coach because he was hard headed, stubborn, and downright stupid.

quote:He rode Saban's coattails the entire time. There is NO WAY he could have taken a 3-8 team and turned them into National Champions. You're just naive if you think otherwise. The guy was (and still is) a myth.

Miles inherited #21, #3, #4 and #14(only 13 commits).
Ed's inheritance was #2, #5, #2, #6 and would give Miles partial credit for #7 class of '17 as much of the groundwork was done in '16 prior to Sept or earlier.
