They are doing a complete rebuild. They aren't trying to pay anybody on that roster right now big money next year.

Glad for Fournette. Maybe he can get on the Steelers now or at least somebody that'll have a decent OL and won't have him facing stacked boxes every single game.

Sucks, but not surprising. They are in total rebuild mode. But where does he fit? The game has changed so much and gone away from his strengths. He’ll obviously get picked up, but I don’t see a huge battle for his services. Will be interesting to see where he lands.

They weren’t trying to pay fournette any money regardless of the rebuild. He’s been openly on the trade market for months

Hope he can find a good situation but it’s tough this late into camp

Not surprising. It seems like Fournette has been looking for a new team since the day he was drafted.

In fairness, I can’t blame him. But his play so far has certainly reflected that.

What? He caught 76 passes last year. He also averaged 4.3 ypc with nearly 1200 yards rushing in 15 games. He just needs a better team. Look at what happened when Bell went from the Steelers to the Jets, complete disaster.

He had 1,000 yards rushing and caught 75 passes last year. I think the Jaguars just suck.

Maybe didn’t quite hit the hype but he had 1,600+ yards last year. 1,200 rushing and 70+ receptions. Jags have NOTHING to replace that with.

frick the Jags!!

Disclaimer: I reserve the right to change my view if something happened off the field to prompt this.

Never had a big game when it mattered, beat up on a bunch of directional cupcakes in college. Taken way too high in the draft and largely been just another guy in the league while getting hurt every time the wind blows.

LSU fans unfounded love for this guy is still one of the funniest things to me of the Velcro shoe wear super fan contingent

Finally
Now he can go to a decent team and thrive

I'm sure there were teams in the market for a RB, wondering if the Jags even tried trading him.

What RB for CLM had a big game when EVERYONE on the other team knew they was going to run the ball? Last I checked, you can't run the ball with the D-line in the backfield and blowing the O-line off the blocks.
