There is a very thin line between being a Hero and a Bum!

Choices have consequences!

You realize you aren't speaking for them, right? When Kaepernick first started thus there were tens of thousands of veterans that supported

And millions like this one who believe that it's his right to do what he does, mine to tune out the NFL because of his actions and for his employer to fire him for it, or prospective employers not to hire him if they deem in the best interest of their business.

This is the America I know and the one Kaepernick both prospered in once and is failing miserably at now.

We live in a great country.

Keep up the protests and players now and future won't make the bucks they're making now. Same thing with the NBA. The general public who doesn't make 7 figures plants their arses in the seats. Without fans, no network/cable television, no commercials, etc........well you get my point.

Ratings were way down last year and from what I hear, they are way down again this year. The NFL is a business and will take appropriate steps to stop the downward spiral.

Bottom line, it's disrespectful to our country. That's my opinion and my exercise of The 1st Amendment.

So you think it is funny to disrespect the Flag of the USA ay a public event?

Funny? No. Do I give a shite if someone does? Not at all. That's on them. See I believe people have the right to do whatever they want as long as it's not harming anyone else. I don't worry with every little bullshite thing other people do. I don't feel a need to have control over others nor am I afraid of others who don't believe the same things I do.

Kneeling for the anthem is t hurting anyone. Let it go.

don't like people who hate it or disrespect it, especially spoiled-arse pro athletes, multi-millionaires who'd be digging ditches in any other country.
You are projecting your own issues onto the people kneeling and sitting. I’ve not heard one of them say he hates this country. And they are not disrespecting anything, but exercising their right to make a political statement.

And BTW, even your Cheeto Jesus president doesn’t think America is great right now. He has bashed the country incessantly for two years. But I guess it’s ok if he does it, AMIRITE?

The only way for you to feel good about boycotting the NFL is to tell people on a message board. That is sad if you think about it. You do not matter. You neeeding justification for your actions says enough

You know that's different because he's talking about how bad black and brown people are. These fricktards are ok with that kind of shite.

Exactly what part of respect for the flag do you not get?

The part where you pick and choose which aspects offend you.

From the U.S. Flag code...

"The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free."

"The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery."

"The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever."

I don't recall anyone being upset about those instances of lack of respect, only this one. It's almost as if this one is more offensive to you because the players don't share your ideology.

I also don't see anyone getting offended at the people in line buying snacks while the anthem is playing. That is also quite disrespectful.
