So you think it is funny to disrespect the Flag of the USA ay a public event?
I dont think its funny. I think it's irrelevant. I thought the guys post I quoted was funny and ridiculously over dramatic.

Seriously.. buncha Nancys here, whining about whether a bunch of multi-millionaires can kneel or sit... Suck it up, buttercups.

Exactly what part of respect for the flag do you not get?

You mean like black people loving their heritage inspite of them selling their own people as slaves?

There is no sugar coating it
What he did today was disgraceful.
Want to protest then find a way that doesn't insult people that serve or died for this country. There is a reason you stand for the nation anthem. The national anthem and the reason we stand for it has nothing to do with what they are trying to protest.

The Nancy thing is this bunch of prima donas making millions of dollars protesting nothing and disrespecting the flag with consequence. What a protest. Lol.
Why don't they protest the black on black crime that is out of control in this country? That doesn't matter because they would have to face the reality that the black community is eating itself alive. It is a joke of a protest and they are jokes as well.

They should be protesting the 79% fatherless rate not the country that gave them more freedoms and benefits than majority.

He has the right to protest and if he doesn't like this country he can gtfo.

If inly the whiners cared about all people the way they care about a flag or song, the country really would be a better place. Fact is some only care about how they experience life here. If so, stand, sing, go serve and fight for the flag and song. Let those who aren't as fortunate as you do what they feel they must. You just keep living and enjoying life. No one will be upset at you.

A backpacker is traveling through Ireland when it starts to rain. He decides to wait out the storm in a nearby pub. The only other person at the bar is an older man staring at his drink. After a few moments of silence the man turns to the backpacker and says in a thick Irish accent:
"You see this bar? I built this bar with my own bare hands. I cut down every tree and made the lumber myself. I toiled away through the wind and cold, but do they call me McGreggor the bar builder? No."
He continued "Do you see that stone wall out there? I built that wall with my own bare hands. I found every stone and placed them just right through the rain and the mud, but do they call me McGreggor the wall builder? No."
"Do ya see that pier out there on the lake? I built that pier with my own bare hands, driving each piling deep into ground so that it would last a lifetime. Do they call me McGreggor the pier builder? No."
"But ya frick one goat.."

You do NOT have the right to protest at work. If the NFL allows it then it's corporate policy and has nothing to do with a "right". Im getting tired of the ignorance of basic civics.
In fact most of us would be unemployed if we protested at work.

You realize you aren't speaking for them, right? When Kaepernick first started thus there were tens of thousands of veterans that supported him

My take on all this is the NFL players should not be kneeling down during the national anthem. What they do outside the game is there freedom of speech. Games on Sunday are paid events by the employers and American citizens paying their salary through tickets and NFL merchandise sales. I appreciate those athletes that give back to the community. But watching the players disrespect ones country and flag is not acceptable. President Trumps way probably was not the correct approach, however many Americans watching on Sundays feel the same way.

It doesn't matter whether we care or not, the American taxpayers have still supported these kneelers and prob most of the people who support them. They showed how much they appreciated this country today.

Yes. And I don't give two shits if people kneel, stand, or pick their nose during the national anthem. God this is such an archaic 1950s thing to be pissed off about.
