One other thing, I did not see Lee anywhere during the ceremony trophy presentation. He should have ben front and center.

He certainly wasn't there. Maybe they know something we don't. Maybe Lee understands that this is no longer his team and he's just along for the ride. Before anyone says it was never his team, I call bs. Until the Bama game, it was his team. After that game, it was not his team.

Still, it doesn't excuse his attitude whatsoever. I understand the guy may believe he's getting the shaft and that he can't possibly win in this situation. I think we've all been in a situation where we believed that favoritism was working against us. Is it true? I don't know. Does Lee believe it's true? I don't know. Do his actions seem to indicate that he believes that? Yes they do. My advice to him is just go along for the ride, but be ready just in case his number is called when they need him.

the 1st half pt was gonna come had uga scored on those dropped passes. Lee was gonna START 2nd half but then turnover and PR gave us ball where we were gonna run it. if you put Lee in then UGA automaticly dosnt havnt to worry about qb runing or option.

now why he put him in to take a knee or refuses to put him in up by 3 scores earlier? dont know.

but Lee is no angel, if the "rumors" are true how would you like for him to be starter all year and then "possibly" not be available for champ game?

or if you say he got beat down mentally because he was wronged thats why "rumor" may be true , then what does that say about his mental toughness or smarts to throw away 5 years of school because a coached pissed in your cherrios?

I love Jlee have never hated JJ, but im all about LSU and the way it has played out is whats best for the TEAM.

and like whats been posted before, there are 40-50 kids who never even got the pt that JLee got and busted their but in practice for 5 years and sometimes didnt even dress much less play!

What exactly are his actions? Standing on the sideline w/ his helmet on wondering why the fuq he's not playing? Looks to me like he's ready to go if needed, and confused that he's not playing.

seems to me he needed to be tonguing Miles ear if he wanted to play, but that's just my opinion

Are you implying that someone has been tonguing CLM's ear for PT?

I'd feel the same way I felt when the starting QB Les has invested so many snaps in over the past few years missed the season opener against Oregon and several more due to a bad decision on his part. Obviously, that poor decision didn't hurt his standing with the coach very much.

Lee was planned 1st half and second half, but the game and feild position didn't unfold correct, or as hoped

simple as that

What is the Lee game and filed position.

If we are in good field position..JJ
If we are in bad field position..JJ
If we have 12 yards of offense...JJ
If we are down by 10...JJ
If we are up by 21...JJ
If we are not throwing it at all...JJ
If we are not running it at all..JJ

I dont mind JJ playing, but Krags and Miles are just being goofs in their "didnt go as planned".

Yes, really. And the use of "really" definitely isn't overused by girly boys like yourself. He looks confused and pissed.

JJ was suspended for 4 games for something he has YET to be convicted off.

There were 20-40 players there and bout 10 of them had just as much involvement as JJ.

if you are gonna persecute 1 you gotta do all.

I never said JJ was an angel in this whole mess.

Let's just be honest...the field position was not and never will never be favorable for Lee to play. Les has made up his mind that JJ is the guy and that is fine with me. I am thankful to Lee for what he accomplished in the first half of the season and am thankful to JJ for he accomplished in the second half.

It is not fair but who cares...this is college football!

Here's an Advocate article about this, if anyone's interested. Lee Deserves a Curtain Call

SIAP.

As far as the revelation that the "plan was to go with Lee," I don't believe it. Sounds like CYA to me, because of the backlash. Unless Jordan is injured or otherwise can't compete, Lee won't be on the field leading this team. That's the coach's decision to make. I may not agree with him at times, but he can make that decision a whole lot better than we can.

That's good enough for me. I do, however, think he could have treated Lee a little better than as an afterthought. The kid has been a great Tiger on and off the field, and will take the reins again if called upon.

This is pretty much how I feel. Miles is the coach and he can play whomever he wants; however, I just don't buy that Lee was really going to start the second half. JJ is Miles' guy and that's OK.

Classic post Tigerfoot and to add to it.... by what you guys are saying about Lee not going in because LSU had the ball at the GA 28 ...... Les trusts Lee at LSU's 28 but not at the UGA 28? So if Ga would have punted into LSU territory Lee would have come in?

Are you serious JJ led the team to 0 first down in an entire half, 7, 3 and outs and followed it up with a game total of 25 yards total offense. If Les doesnt feel JJ needs to be pulled after that putrid performance do you think he ever will? I mean I dont put it past JJ to have a worse half or game he has done it before in his career but come on! 7 drives not a first down and JL still doesnt go in?

Or am I being a racist to suggest that Lee should have played?

I have been very critical of JJ in the past, but I gave him props when I saw improvement this season. What I saw against UGA was an embarrassing effort from the QB. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that there have not been many SEC championships won by a team with a QB performing so poorly (thanks to the rest of the team for securing the win). I don't care what Les's excuse is for not giving JL a look in that game, it's without just cause. I think people can be critical of the QB, and still enjoy 13-0, and a chance to win a national championship. Some of you act like these two cannot coexist. I've never seen one poor performance bury a player, as JL's performance against Bama has done. Here is to the coaches knowing everything (exponentially more than myself), to JJ, to JL, and to another national championship.
