SO what do you want. Slow and steady all year maybe 8-4 with Hatch or Let Lee take his lumps, get better, and eventually open up the playbook more and maybe finish the season 10-2, 9-3.

Is there a reason why JJ did not get a chance? Secret weapon of some sort when the play book is opened up?

Take the glasses off Mrs. Beasley and wear them, yourself.

Lee was confident enough to stare down a receiver and throw a risky ball without looking around enough and paying attention enough to what the safeties were doing.

Lee's confidence that you like will get him as many INTs as TDs.

What game were you watching? I could not possibly disagree with you any more. Hatch looked like a veteran compared to Lee. I think the competition is effectively over. Hatch will start vs. Auburn.

I did like Lee's arm, however. He has a lot of velocity on his throws.

Likely.

I hope not, but I hope a starter is set in stone by Auburn.

So if next year is our year, why not allow Lee (who should be the starter next year) get as many snaps as possible so that he doesn't have to go through all those growing pains again next year.

And probably twice as many as Hatch in both categories... it's a give and take.

While I think Jefferson is easily the most talented of the three, you have to figure that next year, he will be about where Lee is this year... the same Lee you think isn't as good of an option as Hatch

I am about 99% certain that JJ will get infinitely more game snaps this year, than JL did last year.

because any positive number is infinitely greater than zero.

5 snaps a game in mop up duty do not prepare someone for a season.

That would be more than Hatch and Lee got combined.

So did Hatch but the DB's didn't catch his bad passes. If Hatch did throw the 2 INT's that should have been caught we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Since we are talking hypotheticals, what about the two or three more that Lee should have had?

If Hatch had 2 INT's and Lee was sportin' 4, the discussion would be the same.

I don't think it is. I think you have to trust the skill position talent. You trust that Crowton can engineer an awesome short passing game and dominating running game with the excellent athletes we have.

You go with the known commodity that can get our athletes the ball with less risk of giving the game away. To do otherwise is way more give than take. To do otherwise would be the equivalent of starting KW at RB right now. The potential reward is not worth the risk.

I only saw one real possible INT by Hatch, and that went through Dickson's hands first and foremost. If Hatch starts throwing INTS, then by all means give the ball to Lee.
