Seasons over guys....
Wasn't the whole Lee vs JJ supposed to end after the season ended? Wasn't everybody waiting for the season to be over because of this?

I dont know why it bothers you the kid is doing well and people are happy for him. Are you that invested in JJ/Miles that JL has to fail for you to be happy...if so, you need to step back and rethink your life bro.
The flip side of this argument.
Are you that invested in proving Miles wrong in some way or another? The only thing that actually upsets me about some of your post on Jefferson is the "thug" remark. I've heard that word thrown around all season long when it comes to players like Mathieu,Jefferson & Wing. Lee's performance good or bad doesn't have an effect on me at all. I just don't understand why on the rant it deserves 6 or 7 threads last night.
Mind you, if he would have had this kind of performance in the senior bowl or something. Then that would be something worth talking about imo.

You're a pathetic clown. Look JJ didn't play. You want to start a thread about him, fine..go do that.
He has been in every one of these threads doing this.

no it's not.
JL actually played in a game last night...and actually played well.
We were discussing that before you and your "e-friends" got all butthurt it wasn't about the greatness of JJ/Miles.
Stop, leave and start your own thread.

You have been bitching about Lee all year, and squarely in the JJ camp. You ain't fooling no one.
Also, I've been a strong advocate for the two qb system where Lee starts and Jefferson comes in for situational plays. Both players were not solid when it came to being the start for the entire game [versus top tier defensive units aka Alabama]

Yep. Will not happen though. Will turn into a bitch fest about weak competition, or JJ or something.

I would like to reclaim this topic, please
That's unbelievable. It's been the talk of BR since the 9th, and not one word???

also that the LSU fish wrap known as the Morning Advocate did not mention Lee's performance. Interesting.

Not really, the BR sports media is pretty much like any other sports media that relies on a major college program...it isn't going to burn its only bridge.

As he was the whole season prior to the first game with Alabama. Just makes Les look more like an arse.

Makes you wonder how much influence LSU has with them as to what gets into print. Will be interesting to see coverage of today's presser

I just hope that Lee does well in his next All-Star game, and we can then revisit this thread without the haters.
4 more days!!

Your right, the funny thing is, the best thing ever to happen to his legacy might actually be that he did not get his chance. Think about it, if Les had started him the second half and he turned into the "deer in the headlights" Lee and threw two incomplete passes and a pick six. He would have went down as the biggest choke artist in LSU history, even overshadowing JJ's awefull play. But by Les not giving him the shot, all we have is the "What could have been" Thats what legends and lore are made of.

The Advocate must read the Rant. Finally mentioned it

TUCSON, Ariz. — Former LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee and former Northwestern State cornerback Jeremy Lane had standout performances in the Casino Del Sol College Football All-Star Game on Monday night.
Lee threw touchdown passes of 9 yards to William & Mary tight end Alex Gottlieb and 16 yards to Sacred Heart wide receiver Rich Rossi, though his Stars (East) team was on the short end of a 24-21 score against the Stripes (West) team.
Lee started the first nine games for the Tigers, who went 13-0 on their way to the Southeastern Conference championship and a berth in the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 9.
Though he was replaced by Jordan Jefferson as the starter for the final five games, Lee remained one of the most efficient passers in the SEC.
He completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 1,306 yards. He threw 14 touchdowns, three interceptions, and had a passer efficiency rating of 152.04.

In a game where the defense cant blitz and plays man coverage these 2 beat the defenders one and one.

I am not perma banning but please show me where they had 9 in the box all night! I can bet you that they didn't have 9 in the box all night. That is one of the great parts of their defense is that they can pressure with their front 7. If they had 9 in the box I can guarantee u they would have thrown it over the top. Do u really know what the box is?
Stop lying about the all star game as well. They had to play double high coverage. 4-3 defense. I did see one guy blitz on the goal line, and the announcers pointed that out, that they are not supposed to blitz. It was the one that the defender forced a fumble and it got called back for offsides.

Wrong. The defense did blitz. The 1st pass was a rollout to the TE. The 2nd was a laser to the back of the end zone with the defender draped on his WR.
Try watching the game, before denigrating a former LSU player

Wrong again my taint sniffing friend. I watched the game and they didn't blitz except one time on the goal line when Kennie was in. Also they had to play 2 high and no bump and run.
