But you would think every dumbass on this site could easily do it.
Maybe—but not this dumbass! No way in freakin' hell I could do that, even if I had the physical ability. I'm as mentally tough as a soggy Ramen noodle.

I agree 100%. This young man has had to deal with a lot this year. Put yourself into his shoes and ask if you would be able to hold up to this. Most of us would fail miserably.

Yeah gets all the praise after barely beating a weak Sun Belt team but if he gets beat up on Saturday, you people will savage that kid.
Don't act like this is a good situation. You're top rated talent is getting slapped around by lower tier FBS programs.

Lee and having heart
After he threw the pick six against Troy, I thought they should just sit him down the rest of the game, and maybe the rest of the season. I didn't think this out of anger—I simply thought "this dude MUST be shellshocked at this point, have some mercy on the kid before he ends up in a psych ward."
Well, we all know what happened: he came out
later and led the team to a W. Flat our freakin' amazing—I honestly can't imagine how mentally tough a kid must be to rise from the ashes and do what he did. The guy has something inside—confidence, guts, whatever—that not many of us have.
Excellent post! Mr. Lee keep you chin up and forgive us cause we mean not what we say.

not really.. we fall because we don't know how to stand, or we're drunk!!!
we get up because we don't like lying on our faces...

There is a diffrence in praising and supporting a kid.

It's great to see a bottomfeeder of the SEC talking shite!

Great Post.
I'll start by saying ANYONE who booed Jarrett Lee BEFORE or DURING any game is a F'n Loser, Plain and Simple.
That being said, there are times he makes you want to pull your hair out, no doubt.
Still we must realize that the kid is doing the absolute best he can do this year. If fans think it hurts us to watch him throw a pick-six, then what do you think it does to Lee. It's not a lack of effort by the kid. He's simply doing the best he can with the hand he was dealt.
Yes, he stares down his receivers and makes bad reads and gets flustered and throws bad passes. That's what most Freshmen QB's thrown to the wolves will do. But, he also makes some very good throws as well.
But, the kid has BALLS. He keeps coming back. He takes on the interviewers after the bad games and the good games and doesn't shy away.
When it's all said and done, I really believe this kid is going to be a great QB at LSU.
And it would be nice for the LSU contingent to go absolutely wild when this young man gets introduced on Sat. against Miss. and show this kid some love. I think he's earned it with the way he's handled himself this year.

Ole Miss has the weakest pass defense in the conference. You're going to go home crying when Lee passes for 200 yards and 2 TD's without a pick six.

Not me. NEVER trash a kid who wears P&G: That's my code of the road.

You are not going to run on our defense and there's not a chance in hell LSU plays a one dimensional pass game with Mr. Pick 6 and beats us.
You people are so utterly delusional. Tulane and Troy have given your QB fits. And you think he'll pass for 200 yards, 2 TD's and no picks?
Absolutely ludicrous

Great post Baloo, you hit the nail square on the head.
How many of those F*****g A**Holes that are attacking a 19 year old kid do any better?

Yes you are. You act like Eli Manning is still playing for Ole Missy....... oh wait, that didn't work either.

Baloo, Great post. I agree 100% There will be some Tiger fans eating crow before this kids career is done.

It makes me so angry when I hear people boo him. I've said this before, but I don't understand why people continue to do it. A lot of the fans don't like him...I'm pretty sure he's gotten the message by now. Why would you boo a player and risk destroying his confidence? It's not going to make him play better.

I'm with you and I look forward to Lee improving over the next couple of games and then being the bowl game MVP!! (If Mr. Scott doesn't get it for rolling up 200+ yds!)

I agree, can you imagine what he would feel like, and the confidence boost it would give him if we cheered for him instead of booing him.
