Seems like he’s had a quiet fall camp. From all the buzz he gained from spring and summer I really thot he would push hard for a starting cb spot. I guess that’s a testimant to how strong guys like chestnut, Alexander and stamps have looked in fall camp

With Harris likely gone, he’s gonna get more than his fair share of reps

Brian Kelly literally said last week that he had a great spring game, he expected that momentum to continue and improvement to continue and it did.

Seems like we have 4 boundary corners in the mix. Any word on how long JT is out? Obviously we can’t count on Harris

Johnson’s time table seems to be under wraps atm but hell prob be out at least for the first month of the seaosn considering he’s apparently been seen in crutches during practice

Both of our Ohio State cornerbacks have had terrible luck here

Yes, but our Ohio State quarterbacks have been delectable.

CB is a year3 & year4 position for most athletes. Welch came in off a ACL(?) and has never really shown anything to make one think he would be an accelerated guy.

There were some speed questions coming in & he had to add weight, that’s not always a great combo. Perhaps when they add more CB depth he is a safety?

He was already ahead of Harris. He’s kind of been the 4th corner, Chestnut, Alexander and Stamps have just been better

Ashton. Stamps.

I wonder if part of this recent hype is to soften the blow of Johnson and Harris news

No way that kid’s ready for SEC WRs

You think they're mixing Stamps in with the 1's as a PR move? lol

And how do you know he’s not ready? You been watching him in practice?

You think BK is about PR moves? Stamps played high end talent all through out high school, it’s not crazy to think he’s showing out
