Teams That include Tennessee, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Florida and Arkansas all seem to be having above average or great seasons. I’m sure they had to replace players as well. Why are we struggling at the bottom of the barrel. That appears to lay some blame on our coach and his off-season moves and rebuilding process

Florida is in trouble because their overall record sucks. They're almost .500 in SEC play.

You left out Kentucky. The team that played LSU in the supers last year.

They are on fire this year.

How many of those coaches have been at their respective schools more than 3 seasons? TAMU was not good last season and Yeskie was to blame.

Which of those lost their pitching coaches two seasons in a row?

BTW - only Corbin has ACTUALLY won a title of the 4 so…

LSU is bad right now, but so is Florida. At least we won the whole thing last year. They lost and suck anyway.

Oh I hate Florida, but we are worse than they are right now.

They also beat ole miss and Texas A&M. They fell off a cliff. Have lost 6 straight (5 sec)

Experience plays a huge part. Arkansas has a couple dudes that are 24. Most of these teams aren’t replacing 14 big time contributors like LSU. Our lineup today doesn’t have a ton of SEC experience.

Match that with some guys who just haven’t gotten it going for one reason or another and you have what we have seen. They will get it together at some point. Only question is will it be too late?

Tomorrow feels like a must win

Tennessee replaced their entire starting 8 last year & still made Omaha. If Johnson is so great, this shouldn’t be tough. He has White & Co back from last year.

Exactly! Vitello reloaded. LSU must reload too! That’s what we grew sick of with Manure. His recruiting just wasn’t quite good enough. JJ has got to recruit on the same level as Vitello!

So why did Jay hire Yeskie if he was so bad at A&M? Seems Jay bears some responsibility for the result.

What is Schloss? Pitching coach…

As far as Yeskie, maybe the kids have not made the leap they should have
