No because apparently LSUs offensive players were too stupid to learn his playbook so he kept it simplified, but somehow the Pitt players ran his full offense in year 1.

Well, it moved the ball against the National Champion’s defense better than we have in many years. Steve’s offense the previous year was shut out and never really threatened.
Did we even get to see Canada’s true offense?

It had it's ups and downs, but it was probably somewhat limited by Etling at QB. Etling was cautious and avoided mistakes, but he also didn't make a ton of plays. His biggest limitation was that he threw a horrible deep ball. When he wasn't overthrowing wide open receivers, he was hanging the ball in the air like it was a punt. The only question was could the WR make a great play on the ball.

Vs. Auburn, Chark made some outstanding plays on some pathetically underthrown balls. Unfortunately, he couldn't do the same against Bama even though some of the play calling allowed LSU to beat Bama defenders down field (something that did not happen at all in 2016)

There was a reason Brennan played last year despite having a 5th year senior QB. I think Canada clearly recognized Etling's limitations and tried to fix the issue.

it’s hard to say you don’t like hisnoffense when we barely could run it and O was meddling in it.

I mean considering one was a Broyles award finalist for offensive coordinator 2 yrs ago and the other hasn't been an offensive coordinator in 20 yr its not hard to say which one is currently better
