Feel good story that wont get nearly enough publicity or attention, as our society is broken - it seems that drama, gossip and negativity are the drug of choice for todays culture.

On a brighter note, super proud of these kids for going above and beyond, keeping what is important and real in perspective and making Tiger nation proud by representing us well!!!

It’s pretty amazing the way college athletes can have such a huge impact on people. I’m glad that college programs always get their players to visit hospitals and shelters. It must be such a humbling experience for so many of them.

This story is extra special as they weren’t doing this as part of a team outreach/charity trip.

Thanks for sharing the article.

Was damn nice of the players to visit him. It clearly meant a lot to him and his whole family.

The ending was inevitable, but the journey was made better by the actions of these young men. Great representatives for LSU.

I liked that Phillips was able to see the passion of LSU fans, and was moved by it. RIP Dean Vosburg, knowing that you showed a young man from Tn, what a true Tiger is like.

I’ve never been more cautious of avoiding the fat finger downvote. Great story! Fine gentlemen for sure! Thanks for sharing!

Probably 3 of the meanest, baddest headhunters on Our D, with hearts of gold!!! Three great respect full young men. This is the type of gesture that needs to be posted on social media for the world to see. Especially with all the colored hatred on social media that purposely gets shoved down our throats

Thanks for posting Byrd, great heart warming story and great to see the compassion and caring these young men displayed.

Surely the downvote was a mistake, a troll or someone that always down votes a blink link.
