Saban knows Les Miles crappy offense better than Les Miles ever did. Nobody could have beaten Alabama last night with this same crappy offense. Nobody!

Herman is the dude.

No Herman is this year's flavor of the month. Herman at LSU is more likely to be like Charlie Strong at Texas, than Urban Myer at Florida. If LSU decides to go with someone other than Coach O, they need to go with someone who has coached and won at a P5 school like Jimbo, Chip Kelly (if he continues to stink it up with the 49ers), David Shaw, etc.

I watched Coach O's postgame press conference last night and rewatched it again this morning, and if Coach O is named the full time head coach, I don't think he will have any hesitation about cleaning house and bring in an entirely new offensive coaching staff and special teams coaching staff.
Grimes and "Great Recruiter but can't coach a lick Craig" need to be gone as soon as the season ends.

Ensminger flunked his tryout to be OC next season. The offensive play calling was spookily Miles like, but no OC, QB or RB would have much success with that god awful hot garbage of an Offensive Line.

Don't know if SE has what it takes to coach a Modern Offense as OC, but maybe he could stick as a QB coach. The new HC can decide that.

It doesn't matter who the next coach is there needs to be a total revamping of the offensive coaching staff, and thanks to the "Miles clause" this offseason is the perfect time to do it.

Hard not to blame Miles who was here for 12 years. With that being said I don see many blaming CEO for the loss.

It's not just the offense; it is also the lack of talent on offense. We really are not that talented. Many of our lineman are physically weak and not overly athletic. Our receivers struggle to get open. We know we have not been able to attract top notch quarterbacks due to the offensive system. The offense will change, but we need to get players.

Reasons to blame CLM:

1. CLM recruited the players
2. CLM hired the offensive staff
3. CLM and Cam Camerson did not develop the offensive talent as well as they should have

Reasons to blame Coach O:

1. Coach O is the head coach and LSU lost
2. Coach O and staff developed the gameplan

Reasons for not blaming Coach O:

1. The defensive strategy was great and execution was good until the players started getting tired late in the game because of piss poor offensive production.
2. The offensive line play was piss poor
3. The QB play was piss poor
4. The special teams play was bad
5. The gameplan provided some opportunities but the players did not execute and take advantage of them (i.e missed FG and multiple missed deep balls)
6. Coach O was in charge of developing the DL during the offseason and the DL played well for most of the game, but Coach O was not in charge of developing the talent on offense during the offseason.
7. Coach O did not hire the vast majority of the coaches on his staff.
8. Saban is the best coach in CFB and this year's Bama team might be his best ever, and it is very possible that nobody else in CFB comes within 10 points of them.

Coach O deserves some blame for the loss, but the reasons to blame CLM and the reasons to not blame Coach O outnumber the reasons to blame Coach O.

No other coach in the entire world could have stepped in during the middle of the season and done better with the BS offensive system O inherited.

If you don't want O as head coach, that is perfectly fine. Don't bash a man doing a good job though. You damn well should be ashamed if you are bashing him, because nobody could have done better.

Are you saying that nobody could do better than scoring 0 points? I wish I had a job where everything that went wrong is someone else's fault and everything that went right was because of me. You 0 lovers live in a fantasy land.

As much as I admired Miles for being a decent person, I am happy the team is taking a new direction.
Even with the loss football is fun to watch again.
