Yeah being the #1 team in the country in the last week of the regular season really proves this team just isn't all that. I hate our ignorant and entitled fan base.

The postseason eats up teams like this every year and one of those scrappy, surging teams will steamroll us.
I agree. Postseason in baseball requires a certain type of intestinal fortitude that this team doesn't appear to have. Maybe they flip a switch and develop it, but I don't see it.

The team is struggling right now, and still has found themselves ranked #1 in the nation. If our hitters catch fire and Cowan returns to form we could sweep through to a natty. If not, we could be eliminated in the Supers.

They could get upset in the Regional, it has happened to some of the most talented teams but this team has more than enough to make it to the CWS so last night doesn't need to be over analyzed.
