It’s silly how this game keeps being referred to by local news as “historic”.

I think it was 2018 Bama weekend where they estimated like 100k or some ridiculous number of people went through Fred’s that weekend. Idk about in game attendance but it wouldn’t surprise if there were 100-150k people on campus today.

Alabama 2012 had these vibes. This will be nothing close, though I have no doubt it’ll be a great time and be as packed as a big SEC game.

They also said it was the hottest ticket of the year and prices were more than Bama. That was a lie too.

I kind of believe this because they bring a lot of people to Nola for Bayou Classic

They were all stuck in traffic until around half time.

I timed one car down dalrymple take 45 minutes to go 1000feet and it was in the second quarter.

I gave up trying to get to my paid parking lot after being stuck in traffic for 3 hours. Heck we never even made it onto campus. I have to wonder how many other people gave up trying to get to the game. I never saw any police trying to direct traffic other than 2 of them that had lakeshore drive blocked off and closed!! Why in the world block and entrance?? Seems to me this would only make things worse!! I bet that due to the early lopsided score some people were starting to leave the game when a ton of people had not even been able to get to the game!! I read in other threads that some folks witnessed people in paid parking lots without permits and they supposedly also had tents set up in parking spots??!! I don’t know how true that is but I do know that our tickets and paid parking permit was an unused waste of money!!!

I dont know about largest crowd ever but the "Free"fringes were overloaded. When I came through S. Stadium and Highland at 1:00PM it was mosh pit and you could not get through very well.

As of all the predictions of largest crowd ever... bullshite, LSU had very few to no portolets around the stadium. Crowd in the interior of campus was decent but nothing like a top 5 matchup with a SEC team.

I haven't been in a while, but I remember cops everywhere directing traffic and keeping things moving (before and after).

Apparently, this is no longer the case.

You are just racist! None of that happened on yesterday. Everyone there had a good time and was treated to the best halftime show ever in TS!
