This is not breaking news, the same rumor was floating around last week that Kiffin would take the Auburn job after the Iron Bowl. If Kiffin is seriously wanting to be the head coach at Alabama when Saban retires then I don't think he would take the Auburn job. I can't see Alabama hiring a head coach from their arch rival Auburn.

He may take the Auburn job, but this is not the report confirming that.

Not a good look for Kiff, IMO (if true)

It should be used against him in recruiting too. Headscratcher, indeed.

So we exchange a 9-3 ole miss for a 9-3 Auburn on the yearly schedule. Not that big of a deal

Ummm no. Unless he wants to apply for the always open assistant jock strap washer position, he has no future at LSU.

He's College Football's version of a journeyman relief pitcher!

Red flag = Auburn has a high coaching turnover. Kiffen needs to stay at ole miss longer and wait for a power 5 big school thats "stable"

"That’s news to me Jon. ?????. Nice sources" (Kiffen tweet, just a minute or so back)

Look for a post first thing in the morning from 1977 saying it is a done deal/will still happen.

I remember last year when he was a name that popped up as a possible LSU HC. While he's certainly a brilliant offensive-minded coach, SW wouldn't put up with his shite. I mean how do you build a solid foundation for a winning program if your coach is just petty tweeting all year.

You don’t. That’s why Kiffin’s ceiling is 10-2.

He's already at a program in the SEC where he can lose 4 games a year and still become a legend. Where exactly is this "stable" P5 school you speak of?
Bama? ND? Clemson? Penn State? Florida? Auburn? 4&8?
