No. 10 LSU (4-1, 1-1 in SEC) hits the road Saturday to face Kentucky (4-1, 2-1 in SEC) in an SEC matchup at Kroger Field. Kickoff is set for 6pm CT on ESPN.

The Tigers enter the matchup as a 10-point favorite. The over/under is 54.5 points.

LSU is coming off a 63-14 win over McNeese, piling up 731 yards of total offense in the victory. Kentucky is coming off a 35-34 overtime win at South Carolina.

The Wildcats won the last meeting between the two teams, beating LSU 42-21 in Lexington in 2021. LSU's last win at Kentucky came in 2002, when the Tigers pulled off the "Bluegrass Miracle" for a 33-30 victory.

This will be the 59th meeting between the two schools. LSU leads the all-time series 40-17-1. Series History

Press Conference Tidbits:
- The LSU-Mississippi State matchup on Saturday, October 17, at Tiger Stadium will kickoff at 11 am CT on ESPN or ABC

- LSU first team defense has only given up one TD in the second half all season long.

- No timeline for Trey'Dez Green's return...but he is now out of a brace and getting closer to returning, according to Lane.

- On Kentucky QB Kenny Minchey...very smooth, good flow to how he plays, good pocket prescence...and a really good leader.

- On QB Husan Longstreet returning punts against McNeese State: he is always thinking out of the box...likes to challenge old ways of thinking.

- On Sam Leavitt's recent improvement: pass protection has improved...and he is doing better at staying in the pocket, avoiding the urge to run when under pressure, and stepping up to make the throw and take the hit.

- Lane praised the team chemistry...say players are picking each other up and playing well together.

I think if we come in and execute we’re fine. They’re a team that likes to keep it close and be physical. Then they can take more high percentage passes off of play action.

This is misleading. We are undefeated in regulation up until 2021.

Our starters are decent quality, but we have little depth, especially on defense. Our linebacking corps are weak and our secondary has little depth.

I think for Kentucky to win this game, we have to control the LOS and keep Leavitt off the field.

It all is misleading. We've played at Kentucky 2 times since 2002. So we currently are on a, *GASP*, 2 game losing streak at kentucky for a period of 24 years.

I’m assuming that your OL is the strongest unit on the team
