My big picture is that the SEC champion has never been left out of the playoffs. Never. You thought that we currently control our own destiny in the SEC when we don't. It's not a big deal. No need to try to salvage anything

Look the committee first does each their own top 25 first then see who’s got what type of resume. So teams in top 25 that would matter to us, best case scenario
#1 Florida State 13-0 (loss)
#4 LSU 11-2 SEC Champs
#5 UGA 12-1 (win)
#10 Bama 10-2 (win)
#15 Ole Piss 10-2 (loss)
#17 Mizzou 10-2 (win)

Arguably the hottest team right now with wins over @Bama and @UGA (I know not behind the bushes but still in Hotlanta, GA) like LSU playing in the Dome. SEC Champions and haven’t lost since September and only losses are to #1 and #15 both road games. Can’t really keep these cats out right? Your thoughts?
Also someone brought up the 4 year championship rotation. ‘03, ‘07, ‘11, ‘15(were undefeated and controlled own destiny up until Bama game), ‘19, ‘23?????
Also Dome was host site for all 4 championship games. Dome is semifinal host this year btw and oh how sweet it would be for #1vs#4 in the dome. Seamanhole rematch? How awesome would that be!!!!!!!

Why would any LSU fan downvote my post above. That entire scenario is extremely possible and would put us in! I mean Mr. Downvoter let’s hear your take after a Rebs loss? 14-0 btw but I’m seriously interested in anyone’s take on it?

If you knew anything about football, you would know that A&M’s offense is the problem, not their defense. They are making an average at best defense look good today and leaving their D hanging out to dry.
You are getting downvoted because you’re a fricking tool. Others said it correctly. An SEC Champion that defeats UGA isn’t getting left out. We need OM to lose to get there and you don’t want to leave that up to one game. Getting to the SECG is the only thing that matters today. Period.

He said that because he wants Alabama to lose because it helps Ole Miss, obviously. But, I can’t get away from thinking that if the LSU job came open in the future that he would jump at it. And, I’d probably be glad to have him.

Yup those penalties might’ve helped but Dart already has 191 yards passing so outside of a flood of penalties and a blocked kick return yeah they look incredible
