Ole Miss was the final stepping stone. Sorry reb fans it’s a stepping stone now and always has been. Nothing will change that.
The only people who don’t see that are the land sharts.

Should have been one more in 2012 for sure, but I'll take the 2010 and 2022 wins to the grave.
2014 when Yeldon fumbled the ball on his own 2 yd line... we should have won that one.

He owned LSU in Tiger Stadium unfortunately. The only times we beat him in Tiger Stadium were 2010 and 2022.
Crazy that LSU beat saban in 2007 2010 2011 and went to OT in 2008. Les miles could have been 4-1 vs saban. And 2012 yeldon play if honey badger was there. 5-1

He didn’t have to out coach miles. All he had to do was wait on miles to blow it himself
Miles losing in '12 to Bama was the end. Miles had 3 stupid decisions that game that we still almost overcame. Kicking a 52 or 54 yd field goal, faking a 48 yd field goal on 4th and 8+, on the last drive handing the ball off 3 straight times when we drove the field through the air. If Miles won that game I do believe a lot of things would have been different.
We still nearly beat Bama even despite those dumb decisions. I agreed with the decision to go for it on 4th down the second to last possession and the onside kick. Hell we got the onside kick the kicker was just to anxious and touched the ball too early.
