Potential and frame. Geralds tape was leagues better. The real question is where's Richard Anderson? He was the more dominant of the 2 LA kids and went through spring with the team. Also a 5*. Have seen him on the field but with minimal impact.

we need all 3 to step up next year on the line if we want to continue our dominance. High school recruiting is crucial to consistency.

Deuce is definitely quicker and more explosive than brown

As a generalized statement, a top 5 recruit needs to at least flash in his Freshman year if he is likely to ultimately validate being a top 5 recruit.

Rich blew up the 4th and 1 that broke whatever was left of A&Ms spirits. Yall are asking 18/19 year olds to go out and dominate for 40 snaps at the most physically demanding position on the field against dudes 3-5 years older than them. Deuce is succeeding rn because he came in with incredibly polished technique given to him by his former NFL player father. Let’s give em some time before we start worrying

He’s where he should be. I never understood how Deuce wasn’t easily a top 10 high school recruit coming out of high school. If you watched him play against top tier teams in Georgia he was a one man wrecking crew. He didn’t flash. He was a problem on every play, not taking any off. Athletic enough at 260 pounds to play running back when needed. One of the most impressive defensive lineman I’ve seen. He got knocked because he was a little shorter. Saban used to say it all the time talking about how his recruiters would come to him telling him all about a player’s measurables and all that, but the main thing he wanted to see was how many plays the guy was making.
