I would think by this time in your life, you would have accepted the fact you have a small peter and learned to deal with it already.
BTW, I'm not saying Scott will be good or completely suck arse, but how do you know we didn't completely luck up on a player that could have been overlooked?

Why in the world do people think the offense is spread offense. We will look almost exactly the same with a few different wrinkles.
They were one of best running team in nation and had a really good offensive line.
Except it won't. He uses way more misdirection and motion. He lines up Trips and Bunch a ton. He loves to use athletic TEs. His RBs catch passes. He's more creative than anything we've seen at LSU in over a decade.

Etling's will start every game in 2017 barring an injury. You wait a long time to have an eperienced 5th year Sr. QB ready to play.. And you tards wanna bench him for a redshirt freshman? Get real.
That said, assuming Scott wins the backup role, I don't think it'd be the worst idea in the world to develop a package for him to run a couple times a game. It gives the opponents something else to practice for, gives us a good plan b option if plan A is getting stopped, but most importantly it gets your backups feet wet in lowered pressure situations, so that if he has to come in due to injury, he has at least been on the field some since high school.

Because he schemed his style of offense to the talent they had in certain areas. What's the point of running a spread air raid when you have below average wr's and an all American rb?

I see it differently. Etling is a one year proposition. Get your next guy ready. You'd would have Scott for 4yrs, Mcmillan for 3, incoming guys for for 3-4 years.
PLAY THE BEST guy. Non of us now who this will be, given a new system and OC.

Yea he will def get a shot to start.
At another school. He has transfer written all over him. Not sure why you all keep believing he is going to be some star.

Transfer? This kid should be excited. This system fits him to a T.

Cards lining up? I've never heard this expression in my life.
I do hope Scott gets a legitimate shot, though.

How so?
Do you think Scott is the style of QB Canada targets and has had success with?

They line up in that the new system appears more versatile than the previous. There is flexibility in what Canada has done.

Not with some first-time competence at the top down, coach-wise.

No ones quite like LSU when it comes to wanting to start your backup.
Danny's last game btw: 20/28, 324 yds 2 TDs 0 ints
I remember when guys in this site wanted Jennings over Mett in '13.

Brah don't even respond to him. He hates black people. His mom left him in the dumpster when he was an infant and ran off with her black boyfriend. He has mommy issues and works at Lowes in the paint department.

Based on what?
He may be great. Who knows.
I think we just have to trust Canada to evaluate them and determine who gives us the best shot.
We shouldn't be pushing for anyone in particular. Just who emerges under the new regime.

So angry and so typical.
BTW, It's a wonder you don't get fired.
Car parking is prob considered a "people person" job.
Just stay woke dog, hang in there and and you be you.

Scott will get a shot at staring once Etling graduates barring an injury. Etling had a very good year, and with Canada will have a GREAT senior season. he gets way too little credit.
