CJ and Pete couldn't play together. If you're picking the five best players, he's on the team. Best five playing as a team Pete or CJ has to come off the bench. Pete > CJ. CJ comes off the bench.

I think the "tournament" mentioned in this thread had UNC beating LSU in the finals.

LSU's weakness compared to the other top teams is coaching.

Man looking at those lists makes me realize how much talent we have had here. I didn't see Kenny Higgs, Dwayne Scales, Al Green (best athlete ever IMO), Tree Green, Jabari Smith, Ronald Dupree, Collis Temple, Marcus Thornton. all these guys could play too, just not good enough for those list. LSU has had some serious bb talent come through this town, just not lately. Hard to argue with the top five of CJ,pete, shaq, petit, and macklin. 3 of these guys are on the all time NBA team, is there another school out there that has three guys from the same school on that team?

Actually ESPN had LSU beating UNC in the semifinals, but LSU was eliminated because advancement was totally dependent on a fan vote.

forgot about that but you are correct.

Livingstone and Henderson were pretty good too.
I'd have to put Livingstone in the honorable mention even though he was injured most of the time and left early. The dude was a great 1

Blanton and Stanley Roberts do not belong anywhere close to this list.

For the record...when Stanley was at LSU he was better than Shaq.

He was better when he GOT to LSU, but I think Shaq passed him along the way. Stanley was also a year older, so Shaq had some catching up to do.

love this quote from eric neel

why couldn't CJ and pete play together?

Come on dude.. you have Blanton ahead of Ceasar or Ronnie Henderson....

Seriously that is the worst list ever.

Blanton & Roberts (although I liked roberts a lot) would be lucky to make the top 20 much less the top 5

WOW.. really.. you need to do some research.. Shaq matched Stanleys 1st year.. eventhough Stanley was a prop 48 2nd year freshman.... then after that Shaq destroyed any stat stanley put up.

Man yall are funny.

Something is not quite right with this. Oh, I know what it is. Glover Jackson belongs on this list.

Fixed

That is the LSU All Time DUNKING list you are referring to... he just may have the 2nd best dunk in LSU history after Shaqs vs AZ that was followed with the shaq de shaq dance.

Not many people realize that Gert was a first round draft pick.

that should go down as one of the worst 1st round picks in the history of any sport. LOL
