I would prefer that we rework the bowl seating, add chair backs everywhere, add knee room and accessibility. This would actually reduce capacity, but increase quality of life issues inside the facility.
The second thing would be to improve restroom facilities.
I believe the right answer is quality over quantity.

This is just speculation. Nothing is offical from Texas A&M. They have been talking about this expansion for 10 years now.
I think A&M has only had 2 sell out seasons the last 15 years of football in their current 81,000 seat stadium. Yes, they need to expand.

Why didn't LSU give us renderings like that? We got 3 pictures, shitty ones at that

If they can pull that off, it will surpass Bryant Denny as the nicest SEC stadium.
Not even close. It still looks like a giant fishing tacklebox. Bryant-Denny is a helluva lot nicer. Who gives a shite about how many seats it has? Two of the loudest stadiums in the SEC (USCe and UF) seat less than 90K. LSU's problem isn't lack of seating.
Besides, one of the reasons A&M is expanding is because UT is planning to close in the south endzone of DKR. Once they do, it will seat something like 114K. Even though the 2 schools aren't in the same conference anymore, they still like to out do one another.

Kyle Field going to 102,500 bigger than LSU after expansion
And Tiger Stadium will still be fifteen times as loud. The 12th Man is a fricking joke.

Yeah and the space the mark for seats in the visitor nose bleed seats are so small a midget can't sit in them. Hell ,make them six inches wide and call it 150 thousand seats.
Gar hole, IMHO. except the Corn dogs

And Kyle Field will still be a snooze fest. The engineering of that stadium to produce noise is about as bad as you can get.

Yeah those renderings are generally what you get for major stadium projects. I don't know why LSU only released what seems like preliminary renderings.
As others have said, I couldn't care less about size now that Tiger Stadium will be over 100,000. A&M is just trying to one-up its big brother in Austin. Neyland Stadium should be a cautionary tale of over expansion for the Aggies, as it also seats over 102,000 but only reaches capacity once or twice every few years.

I may be alone in this, but it kind of chaps my arse that LSU didn't give us better renderings

No, I agree with you. I thought they would release some legitimate CGI renderings after the initial ones were released, but they never did. Definitely annoying, considering that our best renderings look to have been drawn by hand.
