I'm very aware cowboy but if 5/5 passes it changes everything
Do i think he is coming back? Nope
But i think he's thinking about it and weighing his options

I’ve never been a big Pearson fan. I’m sure he’s a good dude. He’s just not special at the plate or in the field.
I give credit to Pearson for improving year over year and then improving at 3rd base over the course of this season. That said, he’s a PH and reserve infielder in the SEC. That just seems like his ceiling. But we could do a lot worse than a guy who can competently play 3rd and started most of a conference season off the bench.
Maybe it’s in another year, but I think he eventually hits the portal to have a bigger role somewhere else.

I’m with you on Pearson! I don’t understand the enthusiasm many seem to have for him!

Agreed. He definitely improved a bunch.
He’s just not an everyday guy.

ETA: Which means that Brown's best move is to go pro now. More is made of "leverage" than probably should be. No one is going to give him $1MM next year.
If someone might give him $1M this year, why would no one do so next year? With 5 years of eligibility, the situation next year would be exactly the same. He has to decide if he thinks he can stay healthy and put up bigger numbers.

He will be a year older, which is less valuable.
