Coaches are reasonably responsible for the integrity of the players they recruit, but they aren’t omniscient. I haven’t seen one instance where there’s any indication that the coaches should have known of a player’s bad acts or propensity to commit bad acts. Can you name one?

And what would you have them do, pass on a kid with an otherwise clean record because he “seems like a thug”? We’re not talking about recruiting for choir or ballet.

And of course, if the coaches did start recruiting only perfectly prim and proper guys, and going 0-10, you and your ilk would be crying and screaming all day long about how bad the team sucks and O sucks.
Typical Rant post.

Please point out where I said I'm willing to accept "horrible decisions. All I said is the decisions bad or good are done. And they are. Get over it.
And please do tell me which dictionary defines accept as "refusing to call it what it is" Most people know acceptance is acknowledging the bad but not becoming obsessed & always negative, always critical.
Nowhere did I ignore or downplay LSU's problems.
Never said I agreed with what's been done, just said it's done. GET OVER IT.
And don't you dare consider me a lesser fan because I still choose to support the team.
Then again, I do not live vicariously thru any team.

Will you be posting the next 1/9/12 bulletin ? Reliving yet again the fall of humanity & everything good?
IT IS SIX YEARS LATER...
GET OVER IT.
