If this is your criteria, then you should have DD over him.

I would have Les Miles a few spots back from Mulkey and Saban. It’s become easy to bash Miles, but he won a natty, played in another, and had us in 3 sec championship games going 2-1.

Paul Dietzel, you mean Paul Dietzel, "I love LSU." Then next thing you know he says that he's always wanted to coach at Army. I was only12 twelve years old and still remember the disappointment when he left. Dietzel is on the list but WAY down the list...

1.Pat Henry
multiple year with multiple titles and 11 women’s titles in a row outside. Arguably the greatest run next to UCLA basketball.

2 Skip
well, he was awesome

3 Saban
built a monster

4. Mulkey
very close to Saban for sure might be 3

And to the bitches that don’t know a thing about what Henry did, you might want to educate yourself before downvoting in the future.

Baseball was so bad when Skip showed up that when LSU would play Southeastern Louisiana (SLU) the game was played in Denham Springs because Denham Springs had a bigger baseball stadium than both. Those games were probably the biggest draw of fans that either would play in front of except when playing at Mississippi State. That is what Skip had to build from. Where LSU biggest rival in baseball was SLU and Tulane.

The Skipper is definitely 1st. He built the greatest college baseball program ever. Culture, attitude, Coaches, players, fans, facilities, everything. We challenge the lower tier MLB teams in average attendance every year. What Skips done is amazing.

I was at that game. Embarrassing. We were so underpowered against those corn fed baws that we were holding ever other play.

Excruciating. Only worse game was Miami

Skip won 85 and a half national titles in a sport 90% of sports fans don't care about, and 99% of MAJOR COLLEGES don't even try to win at. In fact LSU may be HILARIOUSLY the only major school that goes balls to the wall to win at baseball. Congrats??????

There's also been buzz for years that Skip could have rehired Saban instead of allowing bama to scoop him up, but I have a feeling Skip's ego got in the way of that, because Saban would have EASILY surpassed Skip's "legacy" in Tiger history. So just how great was ole Skip for LSU when you consider that in retrospect???

Saban won a title (and put us on the path to win 2 others), in a sport that virtually all sports fans care about AND all major schools try to win in, and brings LSU an immeasurable amount of prestige. Men's basketball would have a similar effect for LSU. ANY of the other sports??? Not so much.

So no, he's NOT MOTHERFLUCKING joking.
