How do you come in here with this thread title, and not post a single stat?


He's not good, and he's been horrible on 3rd downs. Horrific.


LSU is 5th in the country right now in 3rd down conversion % at 57.5%
Ar-Kansas is 64th, at 42.5%

Through 3 games, KJ has dropped back to pass on 33 3rd downs.
He is 10-21 for a 47.8 completion %. 7 of those 10 completions went for 1st downs.
He's taken 4 sacks (fumbling on 1 of them)
He's scrambled 8 times, getting a 1st down 3 of those times.

So he is 10-33 on converting 3rd downs when he drops back, and the vast majority of these 3rd downs have been 7 or less yards. and 6 of those 10 first downs came in the last 3 drives against Kent State. Remove the 2nd half of the Kent State game and he's 4 of 27 converting 3rd downs when he drops back against BYU, Western Carolina, and the 1st half of Kent State.
Ar-Kansas is 7-7 converting 3rd downs when a RB runs the ball.
