I think a fair amount of our problems aren’t physical but mental.

Sage Ryan doesn’t want to tackle ANYONE. None of our defensive position groups are good as a whole, but the safeties are downright atrocious.

Well only scoring 6 points until garbage time will get you beat just as fast as a bad defense will.

was tellingby 817LSU Lol, so now McKinnley is not a SEC Type of DT.

He will be the underclassmen have bright futures. The upperclassmen who are playing majority of the snaps are the issues

So does Vandy have more talent than we do?

This happens when you fire a DB coach then rehire the same DB coach after 1 year and also fire your LB coach then hire him as your DC. No continuity. This is the worst team of DBs and WRs I have ever seen at LSU. The talent overall on offense and defense is very meh.

Oh ok, my fault definitely took what he said differently. TBH I don’t know why there’s this overwhelming loyalty with some of the upperclassman, I get them playing some but they could definitely been rotating guys in more

It’s truly baffling. Sage Ryan and major burns are who they are it doesn’t matter who the DC is their major liabilities who aren’t sec caliber. It makes no sense why guys like spears, Toviano and kylin Jackson are not getting bigger chances to seize their spots. With playoffs virtually gone playing those guys goin forward needs to be a priority. Hopefully this mentality changes when the 25 class gets here cause those kid are legit studs who will demand playing time right away. The seniority needs to end play the best players

I'm assuming those guys just aren't ready.

A lot of posters said the same things regarding Nuss when he was sitting behind JD5 in 2022.

I don't understand this thought process that coaches are just letting better players sit on the bench.

Dont ask questions like that because sometimes the truth hurts...

One of Vandy's safeties is Maurice "Mo" Hampton than owns a 2019 LSU Natty ring... so yeah may be the answer.
