I think the few complaining about her potential pay should really give it a rest. She is worth it just for the positive exposure to the university alone.

If the womens team brings in more revenue, even with Kim's higher salary, it means more money can be spent on basketball facilities that also benefit the mens team. Wade is doing all he can with what LSU has to offer recruits. This will be a net benefit for LSUs basketball world.

I was in the boat that there was no way LSU would dish out any significant money to get a Mulkey to LSU in a sport that loses money. At the end of the day, it's not my money, and not my problem to worry about though. I watched women's hoops when Pokey had them rolling, and I'll likely be interested enough to watch if Mulkey makes them contenders again.
It's a great hire. Don't see why anyone would be pissed about it, with the exception of Chinyo's racist arse.

Any other statements or posts to the contrary are inaccurate. Kim made the choice to return to Louisiana, her home state, and help resurrect the Women’s Basketball program and shine a light on LSU and all of its sports programs. Waco and Baylor will always have (and will always thank her for) the memories she created here. Kim will be a great asset and ambassador for LSU and to the State of Louisiana. Its time for LSU fans to Boot Up for Kim and the LSU Women's basketball team. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
