EVERY time we had a vacancy, starting with Pokey. LSU never once made her an offer. That in itself, shows not only incompetence on someone’s part - but it is also insulting.
The good thing we have going for us:
Woody is from BR and was at A&M almost 2 years ago. He is also within a few years of Kim’s age. Woody knows what coming home from TX to Louisiana is all about.
I expect he also knows how much of an impact she made at BU.
This can be a staple hire for him. He can relate to Kim.

Tristan and Iseult, alternatively known as Tristan and Isolde is a chivalric romance retold in numerous variations since the 12th century. The story is a tragedy about the adulterous love between the Cornish knight Tristan and the Irish princess Iseult....

In other sources of news, Baylor’s AD was asked about the Mulkey to LSU rumors in an interview today. Here are a couple excerpts from the article on it:
So apparently their AD is a little clueless as he thinks LSU isn’t even officially looking for a coach as he believes Nikki is still here.
Take from that what you will; but that sounds like a very wishy-washy answer. LINK to article
Then there is this from this afternoon posted by what seems to be a fairly credible Twitter profile on WBB and has over 15k followers:

There is probably some truth in the middle of both ends
Although Nikki is gone. Pointer tweeted out about how happy she was for Nikki getting that job. I guess they are waiting for that contract to be finalized for her to sign before they announce she is leaving

Baylor fan here and we would hope Mulkey would stay at Baylor and retire at Baylor. We are not sure what to think but we usually would not get nervous unless a Louisiana school came calling.
Kim seems happy at Baylor but there is one thing that she has been vocal about in regards to the new Baylor Fieldhouae on where she wants it built. She wants it on campus and others want it just directly off campus.
We do believe there is smoke here and as a huge Lady Bear fan we don’t want to lose her.

She is not really liked around the nation but we love her here at Baylor and she absolutely knows how to win and she has had a lot of buy in from our players on defense.
I have watched Baylor basketball a long time and folks before she got to Baylor we were absolutely horrible!
