TigerChief - why would the weakside safety need to push to the middle of the field?
Seems this play was a misread by that safety (#10) because the side of the field with the overload seemed to be defended with numbers, particularly if they were in zone coverage.
Both a linebacker and safety on that weakside should have had responsibility for the back coming out for a pass.

Hell, our QBs/RBs were reading the wrong player, never mind the actual read, quite often.
But yes, his RPO coaching is indeed elite. It is especially beneficial to the running game and while mentally is tough on the OL makes life much easier on them in the execution as it, if the QB/RB execute properly, takes a defender out of the OL's equation allowing them to get to the 2nd level quicker and take out the LB (and often do not even have to sustain the block, just 'punch' them)
